Far more genetic mutations that express functional problems and diseases occur on the X chromosomes. These are X-linked diseases and do affect males disproportionately due to men not having another X chromosome to mask the dominant allele on the X. This makes for a lot of women carriers for X-linked diseases and a lot of diseased men. I'm not sure if that was her argument, but even if it were it doesn't make for a very good one. As for sex in animals being an "accident": it's obviously not an accident just like it's not an accident for an organism to develop an exoskeleton for motility, support, and protection. How does this person expect this to go? So, XX becomes dominant and reproduce by some asexual means? That seems highly unlikely unless it is facilitated via technological advancement and mass gendercide of the male population... I don't get it.

Recent counter articles pointed out that the XY chromosome pair in men leads to a greater variety in boy offspring due to the lack of masking which occurs in an XX pair. So, either men are doomed or men are vital, changing factors in the human species.

Either way I'll be dead before either result is realised, as will the feminists.

Nonetheless I suspect this is just another bastardization of genetics that assumes that having more genes=good or that losing genes=bad.
