They also seem to be very, biologically, aroused when they see an erect penis, an Adonis with a flaccid one though apparently does nothing.

Haven't read the book, but the problem with this is the physical arousal doesn't correspond to subjective arousal (it's very unlikely women are subjectively aroused by the sight of apes having sex).

So the statement:

For one, the book points out that women, as a group, are much more sexual.

Doesn't follow, because subjective arousal should be the metric determining how "sexual" a person is.

To be blunt, the idea that women are all wild and high libido and it's culture suppressing their sexuality seems silly to me on the face of it. Females across many species are more cautious/selective about sex, for the very plain reason that carrying a baby to term is biologically expensive.

Well, it only benefits those women who'd rather control than have sex, while it makes those who like sex a lot suffer. Heck, some even feel terrible for having sexual urges, so it's really not all that good. It'd be a slap in the face to women who like sex to say that's a privilege, much like us being called privileged because of men being overrepresented in high-end jobs etc. (but still not quite the same if you dissect that).

The way you phrased your post is a bit confusing so I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to say.

But overall I think biology is pretty balanced. Men and women have different advantages and disadvantages. Women have always had a lot of power in the sexual selection department, but I don't think that specifically means they are more oppressive or have a better life than men. That sounds like the foundations of a feminist argument.

Some of those points do sound good for debunking some of feminist's claims about how women are sexual victims, but I wouldn't say it goes so far as to flip everything on the head.

Women aren't "much more sexual" (see Baumeister & Vohs). Compared with men they're almost sexless.
