Not a huge issue by any means, but I wanted to point this out as sexism in media can shape peoples expectations and lead to real problems for real people. Also, True Blood is a popular show and pointing this out to people you know who watch the show could be a good way to open up a conversation of sexism against men. Just putting it out there.

Anyway, here's the situation in question: Basically, a female character is stringing a male character along, being extremely controlling, and using him for oral sex while giving him nothing in return. In one of the last scenes of the episode the man complains that he has gone down on her once or more per day for the last 6 months but she has yet to do anything for him. She replies that he will get to fuck her in due time, and when he complains more, shuts him up and pulls his head down to her crotch for round 2.

During all of this she is portrayed as being a sexy creature deserving of attraction. If the situation was reversed and a man was using a woman for oral sex for 6 months while being generally controlling of her it goes without saying that he would be portrayed as an abusive and terrible person.

Also, the entire series is a pretty good argument overall against people who say there is no pressure for men concerning beauty-standards. More or less every single man in True Blood is a massive hunk, often ending up undressed and explicitly exposed in a sexual manner, and if you take a peek in /r/trueblood you will see that the mostly female crowd there tend to obsess over these men and discuss how much they would like to do X, Y or Z with them. I don't really care about this personally, I think it's perfectly normal and expected that sexuality and "perfect beauty" has a place in entertainment for both men and women. The problem is that when men do it it is sexist and perverted (see, sexualized female characters in videogames) but when women do it it's not a problem in the slightest. Whatever your stance is it should be the same in both cases.
