That in itself is a generalization cause theres many statistics that show a woman is more harmful to children than a father is.

Women are more likely to spank their children than fathers are (61% of women) and the majority of kid that are spanked are boys. Spanking is the leading causes for attitude and mental issues later in life.

Women are seen as the better parent ? Hardly cause women not men are more likely to abuse or neglect their children (40-50% respectively is the mother)

Women may gain custody of children most of the time it doesn't mean they are the BEST parent for kids.
