I have no doubt that the male doctors (and female childless doctors) will have to work overtime to make up for them.

Is what she said, about women taking more time off from their career than men due to childrearing, an inaccurate statement?

You can dislike it all you want but if it's factual you can't deny it and still consider yourself an honest person.

Ah so it's true, but we need to rewrite reality to address this. From henceforth every day shall be 36 hours long so women can spend 12 hours with their kid and still work a full shift.

There. Problem solved.

/being a doctor is a hard thing. There are a finite number of people who are qualified. If all of a sudden some large percentage stop working or work part time that's going to cause a problem. It doesn't matter why.

I guess women should just stop having kids to have more time for work. Is that a solution we can all agree on?
