I recently learned that the Canadian government turns away all single male Syrian refugees(they will only take in women, children, or families), because of the perceived security risk they pose. This is absurd, the overwhelming majority of them are just innocent people fleeing from a war, and women can be radicalized as well. Our government is treating innocent men who haven't done anything wrong as criminals. Trudeau's government insists on promoting gender equality. What a bunch of hypocrites, they turned away an entire group of people simply because of what's between their legs.

Two hours after my post, the mods of r/canada locked the thread and banned me. The reason given was "Trolling". Bullshit, I didn't insult anyone, all I did was bring up an important issue that no one was discussing. The real reason was more along the lines of "Your post doesn't follow our feminazi dogma, therefore you are banned"
