Ling story short. My ex and I had a dissolution 2 years agi. We agreed to shared parenting. I agreed to cover the girls with my insurance because it wasn't that expensive. At first, for about 8 months, the girls went with her for a week (she lived with her grandma), and they would be with me for a week. After she met her new man, she moved an hour away and now only sees the girls 2 days a month. At one point it had been 2 month before she saw the kids. I lost my job and she picked the girls up on her Insurance and still has them on it. Even after I offered to take them onto mine or pay for the difference. She refused. Ok, whatever. When it comes to paying for half of everything, it's like pulling teeth and I rarely ever get half. For example, 3 girls are expensive when it comes to school supplies and clothes. I spent around $1k and only got $250 from her. I pay both of the older girl's phone bills, feed them, pay water, gas, and half of the mortgage. I'm stuck living at my parents house with them because I can't afford to move while covering all of the expenses. She just started giving me $50 every 2 weeks for school lunch money. But that's barely anything. She doesn't have to worry about paying bills for 4 people, and feeding 4 people. So, what should I do? Should I attempt to get child support from her? I'm also sure she makes more a year than I do. Not to mention her boyfriend gets $20k a year from a car accident settlement.
