The best you can do is try and educate them about how unnecessary it is. Try and explain the common problems associated with it and how it may affect the child in the future.

Whenever someone posts these types of posts anywhere, it pisses me off how useless the process is and how its only specified to men. i promise you that any hospital that is seen to circumcised women will: - Be Protested against - have their funding cut - have their staff discriminated against and bullied. - ETC.

The original process was put into play back before most of us were born to stop masturbation, which was considered horrible then instead of disgusting but tolerable now. Back then it was more equal than now, believe it or not, because it was for both genders. both newborn boys and girls were required to be circumcised.

but then people started to protest. they protested against that girls were being circumcised (cough sexist). And after the practice of circumcising girls stopped, no one protested against boys, and now its still here, causing tens or hundreds deaths of boys every year but no one is batting an eye. (im pretty sure that there is a post on this subreddit about this, check it out btw)

You could organize a protest at the circumciser's office, and shame the mother for abusing a baby.

You could find out which device they are likely to use there, find a photo of it in use, blow it up large enough for a sign, and put her giant smiling face right next to it -- including this image in a comic bubble quote.

Trying to argue the point will turn into a big thing and you will be forever be seen as one of THOSE guys, with a permanent electronic record of your opinions out there.

Unfollow this person and distance yourself a bit from them. Eventually you will fall off their radar and the problem will go away. If you know the kid's father (if there is one in the picture) talk to him about it. A woman won't understand what it is to have a permanently fucked up penis, but another man might.
