Luckily conception happened within the first month, I can't imagine the pressure of trying for months and being treated like this the entire time.

Also, babies never make women happy or fix marriages.

This is a great case to talk to your friends and check in on them.

Leaving a relationship where you have been abused can be absolutely as difficult for men as women.

This is because it escalates TO violence from a point of isolating and psychologically degrading and gaslighting the victim.

To such a degree that they are conditioned to believe they 'deserve 'it, that it's their own 'fault ', that if only they did x or y, the abuse would stop.

Spoiler...the abuse won't stop. Because abusers gonna abuse.

These are just normal men who have been unfortunate enough to get into relationships that become abusive.

One of the reasons men don't reach out for help is because they are ashamed, and they have been conditioned by their abusers to feel they are not real men.

They are all real men. The abusers are LYING!

I'd be in jail before I let anyone treat me like that. She would have caught an ass whooping she would have never forgotten.

I'm not one that advocates for violence, but when it's to defend and protect myself, all bets are off. I don't care if you're a man or woman. You're tough enough to hit and abuse someone, then you're tough enough to get hit back.

There's a video around here in the subs where this blonde young chick, smacks this guy twice her size. He sent her back to the stone age with the slap he gave her back. Bet she will rethink things before she does that again to anyone. They sounded Russian or German.
