"In 2008 the Justice Department released a report that indicated that prison rape accounted for the majority of all rapes committed in the United States that year. Because of the high prison population in the United States the country has become probably the first and only in the world where rape of men is more common than of women." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prison_rape_in_the_United_States

That’s after they gerrymander the definition of rape to remove female perpetrators

Which female perpetrators are raping male prisoners?

[–]AvailableCandidate89 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Prison guards, for one, but I was speaking generally

Funny that no conservatist ever talked about this until the moment some trans sexual offender went to women's prison. Then prison rape suddenly became an issue (when it is a trans against a woman.)

Again, they help women

Donna Hylton was convicted for her part in the kidnapping, rape, torture and murder of a man. After her release from prison she was hired as a motivational speaker at the women’s March as well as many other feminist events.

Not only did she get out of prison early, but she’s living off her horrific action, supported largely by various feminist groups. In short, her horrific action is being rewarded.

The article the OP links gives similar stories of females who raped boys being praised. It’s sick.

The one about the guys wife made me sick. And whoever the woman is who punched him for suggesting he was raped. She should be named and shamed

The excuse made is “he was hard, so he wanted it” so disgusting.

Probably I am too sensitive but I think the "don't drop the soap" should be not a joke since it is about male rape.

The stance here is pretty clear.

Rape = bad.

That it. That's the position. That's all.

The issue arises because society, the legal system, and a certain ideology with massive systemic power don't seem to agree that all rape is equally bad. Men legally cannot pursue rape charges against a rapist who is a woman, unless said woman penetraed them with something. The vast narrative around coercive rape, or date rape only apply to women. And this blatantly ignores the fact that women rape men at nearly equal rates to the inverse.

False claims - this receives so much attention because it happens far more often that any of the opposition will admit. Outside of a criminal court - for things like getting a more favorable outcome in a divorce settlement, petty revenge against a former lover, child custody arrangements - I've read hundreds of stories here where all of these things have happened. And the victims ha e no legal recourse. The consequences, even when no jail time is involved, are steep. And there is no inverse power that men have that can wreak so much damage at so little cost or effort. I'm not saying men /should/ or even want some ability. But in the face of a false accusation, men are completely, utterly powerless. And can stand to lose so much, even when criminal charges are never brought against him.

You're mad about a term used to describe men getting screwed over in divorce proceedings? Look, I've never seen it used here, but ill give you that it probably has been used. It tracks. If that term offends you, maybe try to advocate for adressing the massive disparity in these proceedings - things like default 50/50 custody, mandatory paternity testing, or the legal solidity of prenuptial agreements. Maybe if it wasn't so easy for men to lose so much in a sivorse, there'd be no need for a term like that.

Furthermore, if the term offends you so much, why not advocate for women who rape men to be considered rapists? It seems to me there is one side of this argument that doesn't take the term seriously enough, and it's not the MRM.

As for the GOP - in not a fan, never have been - ill not speak for anyone else here, I'm sure there are a few. The situation you describe is hands down sexual assault. The perpetrator should 100% be charged and brought to trial for it. I'm willing to bet that most of main stream society simply won't give a fuck, not because it's the GOP, but because the victim is a man.

Remember when Terry Crews was basically told to sit down and shut up when he spoke out a out being assaulted? Yeah it happens on the Dems side too. Let's not pretend ignoring male victims of SA or DV is somehow a partisan issue. They are ignored pretty universally.
