It is important that people know this fact. The funny thing is, this data is rarely dug up and presented as solid research in the conversation about pay and gender issues.

I guess there is no merit inside a university system for someone that presents an unpalatable fact. Probably there is even punishment.

MRAs should be reproducing this with every census, in every modern country, in formal research papers. I think it is pretty sad that we haven't.

Can I just say? I hate these"fact-checking" websites.

It's like now that something goes against their narrative, they suddenly get all pedantic about the "facts". As if they ever cared about the facts.

The Wage Gap myth has been pedaled on us forcefully by media, academia, our government for years; where were these "fact-checking" sites at that time?

Fact-checking seems like a great idea. But it is has become a nefarious practice. What we decide to focus on, and how we choose to determine "facts" changes everything.

I'm saying this even though this fact check came out in our favour. I don't trust those websites. They seem like another layer of delusion.
