This is absolutely not a valid reason for police to use force. Police use force to control a situation and control the suspect. Not to retaliate for previous misbehavior.

Now its time for you to hold up a sec, hun. I never said that there was justification for the kick in that she was a threat evidenced by her being handcuffed and seated on the ground, just that her being seated on the ground and being handcuffed was and indication that she wqs a threat at some point in time. That much is inarguable because she eventually asaaulted an officer while handcuffed, which shows blatant disregard for her own aafety in the face of her desire to harm the officer.

I'm not defending the cop's actions as a LEO, I'm defending his actions as a human. The dumb twat kicked him, and he responded accordingly. He also eventually lost his job because of it and rightfully so. It doesn't make the sweet justice of his kick any less beautiful, though.

Not sure id classify this with police brutality, though i do agree that the cop shouldnt have done it.

I completely understand, if someone hits you then you hit them back. If they didnt want to get hit they shouldnt have hit you, they deserve it.

BUT I believe cops should be held to a higher standard. In customer service it doesnt matter if the customer is insulting you, you cant cuss them out. In the same way if a person who is not a threat kicks at a cop, the cop shouldnt swing back. This woman was handcuffed to restrain her and was clearly not restrained enough, that's on the cop; she shouldve been put in the police car and had resisting arrest / assualting an officer added to her charges.

Watching this gives me a justice boner like everyone else, but the cop was also in the wrong, he wasnt doing his job of safely handling the situation, he was retailiating.
