The MRM still has to shake off the false perception (lie, really) of being anti-women, and that seems to be happening more and more everyday as mothers, sisters, daughters, etc see MRM issues effect men in their own family. There's no denying it when it happens, and I actually think they is a parallel correlation between the increase of rapid SJWism and interest in the MRM. People are brought here by the extremism and blatant misandry they encounter.

The idea that the MRM is anti women is perpetuated by feminists. Feminists have control of academia and our gynocentric society takes their words as gospel.

Breaking that misconception is difficult at best.

The idea that the MRM is anti women is perpetuated by feminists.

Demanding longer prison sentences for women and accountability IS anti-woman, because you're saying "this specific gender needs to be treated more harshly".

Even if it would be equal or fair, its still anti-woman.

Imagine if we had people running around saying "its not fair, white people need to be punished more often and more harshly because black people get it".

That's fair, but doesn't it sound and look anti-white?

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If wanting women to actually be held responsible for their actions is anti woman then I guess I'm anti woman.

Even though it isn't.

[+]mwobuddy -7 points-6 points-5 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Well, anything which targets a group based on gender or race and seeks to do them more harm is considered racist/sexist.

And holding women more responsible would be doing them more harm.

Well, anything which targets a group based on gender or race and seeks to do them more harm is considered racist/sexist.

Then all of society is anti male.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Precisely.

[–]mwobuddy -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nah, its status quo from hundreds or thousands of years so its 'natural'.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So was slavery, women being suppressed, and sacrifice in the name of religion.

Our past should not prevent progress.

No, you're saying they need to be held to the same standards as everybody else. It's called equality. You're confusing equality of outcomes with equality of opportunity.

If I say punish a woman when she breaks the law, it's not anti-woman, it's anti-crime/pro-justice. To see it as anti-woman makes you a moron because it's not about her being a woman, it's about her not being punished fairly like everybody else because vagina.

That's about as logical as the radfems were when it was announced that "Female Workplace deaths have doubled in recent years" when in reality, they hadn't changed at all - it was just that men's workplace deaths had cut in half, making them ONLY 93% of all workplace deaths instead of like 98%. Women's workplace deaths had doubled as a percentage of total workplace deaths only, and were still less than 1/10 of men's, but this was a problem?

Ridiculous, spin-driven, bullshit.

You're disingenuous at best, likely a troll, and evil at worst.

Thank you! This was very nice to read. I hope the voices like yours will grow and be heard more.

Made this exact comment on a post on the exact same subject earlier today or yesterday. It makes me sick to see these discrepancies.

Edit: it was actually the very last comment I left before this one.

Why down vote this? She is a sick bitch and she shouldnt date minors?

[–]KingRobotPrince 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why down vote this?

Possibly because it's not really the point and sort of "taken as read". It's more about double standards.

Absolutely. I'm not suggesting it doesn't.

Where the circumstances are the same, crimes should be reported and punished in the same way.

What I meant was, we all know that she should have found someone of legal age, but the point of the post is the whole "man = rapist/woman = sex romp" angle.

Personally I didn't downvote, but thought I would offer an explanation.

Real equality would mean equal punishment.

It would, but feminism abandoned equality a couple years ago. Pay close attention to the wording they use now - they straight up don't advocate for equality anymore.

These days it's all about equity, where it's acceptable to discriminate based on gender and race.

Correction: They abandoned the facade of equality and the use of the term. They never have been for equality in fact, since the birth of suffragettism.

Because she is an attractive female, and the TEENAGE boy wanted to have sex with her, and most men understand that it is a powerful urge and overall she is doing him a favor.

With that said, the same can be applied to many teenage girls, many of them want to have sex with that older guy they like, i don't know if it is doing them a favor, but i know that the situation with them is often not that much different then the males,

The double standardizes society is pretty sick and is more sick then a 26 year old women having sex with some teenage (what 16?) boy. Same thing if it was a 26 year old man, with a 16 year old girl, the double standerds against males are more sick then a 26 year old man or women having sex with a 16 year old boy or girl. Teens want to have sex, and developed to have it, and often wish to fuck older people they are attracted to, and you could argue against it, but what i think is far more sick is the discrimination males face both from society and the law and it needs to stop now.

Some people consider the age of consent to be bullshit, regardless of gender.

[–]problematic_coagulum 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don't think anyone her age deserves to date a child rapist.

[–]YuenHsiaoTieng 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Or we could maintain a consistent positive energy and defend both men and women in her situation.

[–]xyzadeel 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Real strong women who have opinion.

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because you can rape someone who sneaks out of the house at night to have sex. Because a rape victim runs to the car to get in. /s

2 teens fucking != rape, but consenting sex and their choice. 1 teen and 1 legal adult fucking = rape, despite the behavior being identical.

Derp.

Rape means something. It means forcible sex or controlling, drugging of individuals to prevent them from getting away from an act they don't want.

hint: Dont want.

[–]claytonian 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'd like to see statutory become a verb. She statutoried him.

[–]warsie 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Even if the genders were reversed this wouldn't be rape. Don't be a fucking SJW about this shit age of consent laws are cancer even if the older partner is a male

[–]EgoandDesire -3 points-2 points-1 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I agree. Would have made my teenage years so much better

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Unfortunately not a popular opinion. This is the SJW of sexuality. SJWs deny people as individuals, and identify people only as belonging to oppressed or victimized groups.

So when people say "he was a little boy that got raped!" they're ignoring their own beliefs that two teens fucking would actually be consensual because both parties are horny and want it.

And they're falsely equating a teen to 'little boy' to stretch the argument into sounding like both a 5 year old and a teen are equal in capability.

People who claim this is rape either hide their opinion in "well the law says so" (which is bullshit, because the law also said certain human beings were property and not people as well, at certain times in history), or in "well they don't know what they're doing/can be manipulated (and ignore that teens can do the same to each other, yet deny that it is rape anytime teens fuck). They don't have the courage/balls to do their own research or examination of the subject.

They're just SJWs of a different cloth, as they're playing to the oppression/victim narrative without looking at the individual.

For additional devil's advocate:

There seems to be some wiring in the brain responsible for gauging people's relative age to yourself. It makes the 'age peer' connection. I don't know how it works. Maybe its to do with mirror neurons or the immortal cells in your brain stem or wherever. There is something which is comparing your body-state to the body-state of others.

And yet, we know that brains can go wrong. People can become or can even be born schizophrenic, etc. We know that brain damage is possible, and it changes how people perceive the world.

Why not that people who get busy with teens have the kind of brain damage that retards the function of the body-state comparison circuitry?
