I had been a stay at home dad since my son was born. When he was born I quit my part time job to focus on caring for our son and running my home business. Since I was the only one who could care for him during the day and provide an income it's the only thing that made since.

My son's mother has a covert Narcissistic personality disorder and treated me like garbage for 18 months. Her and her family showed me no respect and I had to deal with almost daily abuse. In an absolutely abuse event she ended up filing a protection order against me in retaliation for filing a protection order against her SISTER'S BOYFRIEND for me and our son that had me kicked out of our home.

I had no where to go, no car, no money, and no home to work out of and for the first time had to live in a homeless shelter. Within 45 days I managed to get my own place and was awarded 50% physical custody of our son.

Fast forward less than 6 months later...I have my own place and and car and am back to being a stay at home dad the day's I have custody. I don't get much work done on those day's so I have to work 10 plus hours the day's he is with his mother. It's difficult but it's worth it to be able to care for my son during the day.

My son's mother just asked me to care for our son during the days she has custody because she is behind on her daycare payments and can't afford to keep him in there. As much as I have resentment toward her it's hard enough doing what I'm already doing. It's not easy being a stay at home dad 50% of the time while running a business and paying all the bills when less then 6 months ago I was homeless.

I'm pretty much going to have to find a way to make it work because she has no other options but any advice would be appreciated.
