It is in any case rubbish I looked up the situation for Russia which dominates the map. The map refers to a situation where the normal age of consent is 16 but can be reduced to 14 if married. This means if someone has consensual sex with a 15 year old it is statutory rape but if they then marry it is not a offence. However this exemption only applies above the age of 13.

When you cosnider that an age of consent of 14 is common throughout the world including europe then the situation is no different than having consensual sex with a 14 year old in those countries. Claiming it is some pro-rape culture law is nonsense.

It honestly bugs me to know end about this. Like a lot of the nonsensical feminist arguments are completely true about the eastern nations such as patriarchy and women living as second class citizens, yet they try to apply it to privileged nations such as the US and the EU and it boggles my mind.

Like imagine how a women about to be hanged for refusing to having sex with her husband feels when she hears about how some women in america consider them selves "second class citizens" because "there are more male CEO's"

Boiling down all of feminism to just one point really doesn't help the Men's Rights cause... Both of these movements are extremely complex, and we can't just say "there are no marry your rapist laws in the west, so feminism is bs." That only serves as justification for them to blow off the men's rights movement as being narrow-minded
