Here is the Atlanta Buckhead deal.....

Two problems....

One is that Atlanta is different than most large cities in that the night scene is basically a continuation of the college frats one from uni segmented still into the universities from which these young people moved to Atlanta. It is one of the few cities after college where I was told by more than one girl that she was looking for a Kappa Sig or such. So many of those fat dudes are simply frat brothers from the colleges where the girls went to college and they continue in that world. They might branch out to a another university but seldom to another demographic.

The other thing is that you are running into what I call the yokel syndrome...southern women are notorious for dating\fucking their fathers and not wanting to branch out to non-conforming prospects. So if the girl's dad was a beer drinking, Carhartt wearing college football social scene lard ass then that will be her alpha male.

I would suggest that you try other more alternative scenes where the girls are more like your northern or western adventurous type. Say Virginia Highland's area or the Five Points scene which is more urban grunge.

Not from atlanta, but edm shows are bastions for young white chicks. Pretty sure that's a worldwide thing.

Pea cocking is super prevalent at these things, but i'd dress normally the first time and observe what people are wearing. Basketball jersey/tanktop with a flatbill is usually standard. If you're in shape, this attire makes things so easy.

Get there as early as possible. It's way easier to meet chicks before it's ridiculously packed and you can still converse, as opposed to only having kino at your disposal. Randomly you run into a chick who throws a shit test or two to quickly see if you're cool, then just "get to the front" for isolation.

You can be sober but i'd bring the following: - Earplugs in case you get stuck next to the speaker (avoid using them if possible). Bring extra.

condoms (obvi)
gum. Bring a new pack or even two new packs.
optional: sneak in liquor
optional: glow sticks

EDIT: added glowsticks. the items you bring are commodities that immediately increase in value once you're in the venue. Gum especially can be a life saver to a 20 year old edm enthusiast.

Born and raised in Atlanta. UGA alum.

Go to Athens for a weekend. If anything it will help you understand what the white girls are used to. Leave your jersey and flat bill at home. Dress as neutral (albeit nice) as you can. White girls will not go for the "urban" look here. They have no urge to branch out, only the urge to be like that girl that is prettier than her( who is dating the beer chugging polo wearing finance guy).

Be friendly, Atlanta doesn't do hard asses. Social circles are huge here. Get to know a gatekeeper bitch and be incredibly down with her. Once she tells her friends you are not a rapist it will then be down hill sledding my man. I also agree with the dude who was saying to check the suburbs.

Key to success here is making friends, you HAVE to have someone to vouch for you. Shame you aren't into black girls, you could smash nightly if you wanted to.

Are you by yourself? if so that your prob, you need social proof. its the South even though it's a large city. If you want to get with Southern girls, you have to be Southern. My buddy who was literally a male model couldn't game for his life in Ky and Ga, it wasn't until he dropped his Chicago tone and attitude that he could start dating.

If you're having trouble finding single decent looking girls either 1) your not looking in the right area. MidTown, highlands, even some of the outer Perimeter areas. Dunwoody. I always avoided Buckhead.

2) you care too much about them being single. Saying they have a boyfriend is a polite way of using the bitch shield.

Get involved with groups and be introduced not in bars. I've dated a ton in the South and it's a little different. If you go all out and aggro like a northerner, and you'll only get Northern girls. That's fine, but don't expect to break into the Barbie/ UGA crowd. Social proof is key.
