I've noticed on here that a lot of people think Trump defends men and advocates for due process, but he literally called for five young men to be exectued before a trial even started. He was NOT interested in stopping their lives from being 'ruined' then. In fact, he wanted their lives ended.

This is consistent with his approach today. From 'lock her up' to bringing out Bill Clinton's accusers (every one as credible as Kavanaugh's accusers). Trump also regularily makes finite claims/accusations of wrong doing against his political opponents without evidence to support them.

And the Kavanaugh investigation was not 'due process'. He tied the FBI's hands and pretended like they cleared his name afterwards. When witnesses come forward and law enfrocement won't even interview them, it seems clear that finding the 'truth' is not the priority: protecting himself politically is.

It seems to me that Trump has politicized an important issue for his gain. When it comes to those who supports him, he will advocated for 'due process' (or some semblance of it that supports him), but when it comes to his opponents, he's willing to send them to the gas chamber or lock them up without a trial.

Can we stop pretending like this guy is on 'our' side? He's on his side, and if that means railing roading other men, or helping others get away with murder, or rape (figuratively or literally), then he seems to be fine with either.

Let's not pretend this man is an advcate for men just because he sometimes says what some men want to hear: he just wants to maintain his power and will manipulate people to do so.
