Most people who own it won't misuse it and will use it to defend themselves if they need that but not everyone in this world is a good person and will misuse this weapon to destroy someone who doesn't deserve it. Rape is terrible and we need equip people with a way to defend themselves but we don't assume every murder is self defense and we shouldn't assume every allegation to be genuine.
