Meh. What she did was flat out sexual harassment and the punishment was just.

The only interesting thing in this case is that as someone not attracted to the gender of the student (and who probably knew that he was gay), it sees pretty doubtful she was trying to take sexual advantage. She probably thought it was "okay" for her to do those things because the implication of sexual tension wasn't there. Even if it wasn't meeting a sexual need though, it was still inappropriate and even predatory.

To me this is a great example of how someone doesn't need to hold a gun to your head or penetrate you to be guilty of sexual harassment/assault. Using their power over you to get you to meet their needs is enough.
