Truth is the course of society was always ruled by a few wealthy men (and sometimes women). Truth is, throughout most of history "the winner takes it all" applied and men created a system in which they themselves are mostly powerless, thus have to compete for the power with other men. Meanwhile the backbone of society who built everything, put ideas into practice and who made the world work every single day- includes women.
