Men have to adapt to the tactics of the fat feminists. He should have approached rhe manager first, and complained that a woman was harassing him without reason and invited the manager to check the CCTV footage. Take the initiative and put the feminists down FIRST. Don't wait. Don't treat them like "ladies" as there are none.

Some guys have to reach that conclusion at 10 or 15 years old.
[–]shit-zen-giggles 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
sadly true and accurate. Should've definitely asked the manager to retain the cctv footage, just in case.
thank god for my home gym
[–]kur955 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes exactly
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
you shouldve approached the manager and just said she was lying and is a lunatic

If she’s Hispanic, that explains some of the behaviour. I’m not being racist when I say this. Please don’t downvote me for racism. I’ve seen Hispanic women go apeshit over absolutely nothing in grocery stores, restaurants, on the sidewalk, in movie theatres. It requires almost nothing to trigger them. The resulting behaviour is incredible. I spent a few years living in South Beach. I worked for a Colombian owned company in Miami. I was the only non Hispanic employee. Some of the women used to talk about the behaviour of some Hispanic women. My Spanish isn’t great...but they essentially referred to them as low class. Cubans, in particular are notorious for this behaviour. When "Keep calm and carry on" shirts were popular, there was an alternate version sold everywhere in south Florida that was really popular...."I can’t keep calm! I’m Cuban!"

I’m not being racist when I say this.
Yes, you are. But it doesn't make you wrong anymore than "I'm offended" constitutes rational argument.
[–]CyclopeWarrior 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's not racism, it's a common stereotype that stems from reality. Just look at women's day every year in Mexico.

[–]IronJohnMRA 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Well, if he was recording her, he's a scum bag.
Why does this make him a scum bag?
[–]TheRandomedOne 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I guess he should have ask for permission first but i don't really go to gym so i don't know how gym culture are
But i doubt that make him scumbag though just impolite.
[–]IronJohnMRA 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Impolite? Sure, I can see that.
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Because he's recording someone without their permission?
While it's possible that he could have not had creepy intent, I can't imagine a case like that.
[–]IronJohnMRA 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
creepy intent
You're gonna need to define this.
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Stalker shit?
Spank bank?
Other weird sexual shit?
I can't think of a reasonable reason to take a video of some random person exercising.
[–]IronJohnMRA 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Well, with respect, it looks like you're not really sure yourself what the definition should be for this term. I'm reading questions, not statements, made up of a few words, and branching out into different categories. I'd give it another try. See what you can come up with.
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Creepy intent when recording:
Intentionally recording someone you don't know and don't have permission to record for any reason other than security, recording a confrontation/offence.
[–]IronJohnMRA 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Ah. Well that is a much better definition. Thank you for making more of an effort this time around.
[–]IronJohnMRA 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
And to follow up, why does this make someone a scum bag, in your view?
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Because they are doing something to somebody that does not want that thing done to them without a good reason?
In a gym you have an expectation of privacy. Some people would not go to the gym if they were being filmed. Sure some people just go the the gym as a photo op, but that is their choice, not yours.

Men should wear bodycams and record these kind women who make the accusations and then report her to management demanding to cancel her membership. State that he is not safe when that women is there and tell management that there will be legal consequences if they don't act.
If body cams are inconvenient, try to have a friend with a phone to record. One good reason for men to go to gyms in pairs. To protect their own safety from these insane females.
[–]Coolshirt4 -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
So to avoid accusations of recording people he should..
Wear bodycams and record people?
A small percentage of men do creepy stalker shit. Because men are physically stronger than women, women become paranoid of men.
If the guy was actually recording the lady on the treadmill, the second lady would be 100% justified.
[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link
If women are paranoid of men, they should get a psychiatric evaluation done.
What you dont want to admit is that, this paranoia is due to fear mongering tactics by feminists. Its not mens fault.
Its the fault of media demonisation of men.
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link
Every time a woman is raped, or killed by a man, the discourse about it is what the woman should have done to prevent it. It's usually not the feminist organisations that do this, unless Fox News is now the bastion of feminism.
The fact is that these things happen. Some men do creepy stalker shit. I have personally seen some crazy stalker behaviour both online and IRL.
How do we stop women from being paranoid without being all like "ah, she should have been prepared" when something happens.
[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link
Everytime men point out divorce statistics, false accusations and paternity frauds... Feminists dismiss these concerns as misogyny and hate speech..
The fact is that, these things happen too. And some women have this manipulative behavior.
How do we stop men from being paranoid in that case. Bodycam is for their own protection..
At least women who get raped have a reasonable chance of getting justice in the court. Men who are falsely accused, or raped, or ruined in divorce, have no chance of justice. In fact, the justice system actively participates in this injustice.
[–]Coolshirt4 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
Like with feminism, there are plenty of people who use men's rights activism as something to attack people with.
Internet circlejerks tend to show the worse from the other side. Sometimes they even just make shit up about the other side.
If you phrase your complaints about how men are treated in a way they can relate to, you can get them on your side.
For example, relate the male struggle to be taken seriously as a parent to the female struggle of being taken seriously as anything else.
The problems that men and women have are in almost everycase, mirror versions of each other. I think the only way to get rid of one set of problems is to also get rid of the other.
[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
That doesn't stop the society from supporting feminism and giving 100s of billions in govt support.
So, why men's rights are beng ignored then? Or even worse opposed and silenced. Not only by feminists, but by society as a whole.
If you are saying that men and women have same faults, and MRM and Feminism also have similar issues within them, then the society should support both movements with equal Zest to achieve true gender equality.
Problem is gaslighting. Men, and even women, are lied to from preteen age. This is to sustain the status quo. Revealing the whole truth will cause chaos.
Media shows only happy old couples in love. What they dont show is that in 50% other couples, somebody is paying alimony, child support, get to see their kids once a month.
This gaslighting is what we are fighting against.
I didnt understand what you mean to say.
You mean, getting rid of rapes will get rid of false accusations? May be, but why cant we address both issues simultaneously? What about F on M rapes. Gender biased rape laws? Are feminists trying to address these issues?
They are only talking about M on F rapes. Feminists are not even bothered about F on M rapes. Even if they succeed and we manage to eliminate M on F rapes, who will fight for eliminating the other 50% of rapes?
Will you be running around for another movement?
What kind of disgusting society sre we living in where only the rights of one gender are given priority and we still have the guts to call it 'gender equality movement'?
[–]Coolshirt4 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
What I was trying to say was that the problems that men and women have are tied to each other. Men not being seen as capible of caring for children and women only being seen as capible for caring for children are basically the same problem. We can't really solve one end of it without the other.
As for the name of the movement, it seems that "feminism" is a pretty successful name, so I think we can use that name but focus it on both men and women.
I think a future where you are defined by what you want to be, not your gender is possible. We just need to strive for it in a politically effective way.
[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
I have no problem with the name.
I have problem with the actions.
I clearly mentioned how feminism fights for only 'female victims' when it comes to rape, DV, or any other crime.
In fact, they actively lobby against men getting equal rights in all these crimes. Apart from equality in custody and divorce settlement.
I can give you proof where feminsts actively lobbied against proposed gender neutral rape/DV/custody laws.
Some of the problems men face are tried to legacy of traditional society.
But there is no getting around the FACT that nearly 80% of mens problems today have been 'created by feminism'.
A movement is defined by its actions and its members. Not by dictionary. You can call it whatever you want, I ll define feminism with its actions.
Those actions certainly are not to help men. In face, a large number of their actions actually undermine mens rights. (Defence of paternity fraud, opposition to DNA tests, feminists even defend false accusers and female rapists).
[–]Coolshirt4 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
I have not found this to be the case with the feminists that I have met in real life.
Online, however, you will be exposed to the loudest and craziest.
And I take issue with your claim that 80% of the problems men face are not caused by traditional society. I fail to think of one problem that isn't rooted in traditional society.

I don't know what you expect us to say. To be fair, he could have done it. Obviously, she should not have confronted him the way she did but he could have done it. Without being there and seeing everything for myself, I am not going to take a side.
We have to remember to stay impartial.
[–]ApprehensiveMail8 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I'm not staying impartial on this one; I blame the gym!
Disclosure: I own shares of PTON

I'm assuming that you are making a joke. Personally, I despise the fact that everyone tries to be funny online. It gets tiresome especially when talking about serious issues.
[–]Frosty-Gate-8094 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
False accusations is also a serious issues.
Feminists seem to be complete silent on it, and even support it.
I agree that he doing it isnt ruled out. Neither has false accusation been ruled out.
If you want people to be impartial, you first demonstrate that by being impartial yourself.
Practice what you preach.
[–]Appropriate_Deer5129 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

How is this not being impartial, exactly? I would love to hear your explanation for this.

OP witnessed it himself.
He just called her out on shitty behavior.
Even the 'alleged victim' dismissed her as 'crazy lady'.
Her behavior was shitty. Unless she has some strong reason to behave that way, OP has a right to call out such behavior.
