I've never been a fan of calling excessive porn consumption an addiction, only because in my personal opinion it takes blame off of people who watch it because it insinuates they have no control over it and they will literally go into withdrawals if they do not watch porn. It's a compulsion that can be stopped with just an ounce of self control. Like blocking websites or shutting your computer. Real addicts who struggle with actual addictive substances shouldn't be lumped together with porn sick men. I'm prepared for people to disagree but I'm open minded.
