We've seen an uptick in posts that are more "incel" oriented, and it needs to stop.

THIS IS NOT AN "INCEL" SUB!

First of all, I'm not ragging on incels - most incels are just guys who are on the wrong side of the 80/20 line living in the age of swipe apps. I'm talking about the sort of posts that showed up on the old "incel" subs that resulted in them being banned (although inspin subs are apparently A-OK for some odd reason). Although I was voluntarily celibate before I got married, there was a time in my own life when I couldn't have gotten laid in a whorehouse with a pocketful of $100 bills. There's no shame in being unattractive to superficial women (although wallowing in self pity is not particularly helpful for the small number of guys who go that route).

Having said that, what I'm warning against is making posts that are:

  • Blindly critical of women in general or of large swaths of women,
  • Critical of a set of behaviors that are not linked to specific consequences, or
  • Critical of something other than a failure at AF-BB and subsequent disappointment,

rather than posts that highlight the consequences for specific women who tried and failed to secure commitment from good men by using the infamous "dual mating strategy" (also known as AF-BB).

Rule #5 states:

Submissions must show a woman who is looking for commitment while also either complaining about jerks or promiscuity, needing her kids provided for, being entitled or unreasonable, or complaining that she "can't find a decent guy".

Posts that merely point out the bad behavior of some woman, or general critiques of women, are not what this sub is about. Many of the guys here are married, and several of the commenters are women. Incels are welcome, but stereotypical incel posts are not. This sub isn't an all-purpose "woman-behaving-badly" sub. There are probably subs that are, but this is not one of them.

Keep the focus where it belongs, and hopefully we can continue to educate both men and women on the dangers of the dual mating strategy rather than getting ourselves branded as another "incel" sub waiting for the admins to get around to banning us.
