Even though she’s in jail it’s only 6 years that’s nothing for this crime imagine a guy did this he will be sentenced for life

[–]flow3rss -3 points-2 points-1 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’m all for equal sexual viplence law. But you know that’s not true😩 According to a uk study only 3.4 rapes end in convicton. Your splitting rhetorics is disgusting

[–]flow3rss 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No he wouldnt. Only 3,4% of rapes lead to a conviction.

[–]bullstar4806 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

First of all u need to recheck your numbers it’s not that low, secondly I was saying if he got convicted there would be much harsher consequences

[–]NormalFemale 36 points37 points38 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

Disgusting. I hope she rots in jail.

[–]omidoggo 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Ye... but the point of the post is how ridic low is womens sentences

[–]NormalFemale 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

What are men sentenced to for similar offenses?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Adam Johnson, a premier league footballer (soccer) at the time. Found guilty of kissing and touching a 15 year old that he met in a nightclub, he got 6 years.

[–]NormalFemale 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Holy crap! So he got 6 years as well! But how did he meet a 15 yo in a nightclub?

[–]omidoggo 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

way more time...

[–]NormalFemale 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

But how much time? Is it six or ten years?

I didn't take the post from that POV btw. I thought it was just showing how women can fuck up a young man's start in life.

[–]omidoggo 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

First of all when a women pedo rapes a boy its called "sex" as for some reason they dont classify it as rape. Second of all Theres been countless examples of teacher girls pedos whove gotten ridic low time. This one isnt that bad but still not on par with what guys get

[–]NormalFemale 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

True

[–]i_am_dumb_39 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its 14 years

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you even know what the max and min times are for that offense in the UK, let alone what typical sentences are for similar offenses? You can't compare to the US because sentences are much longer there.

Age of consent in the UK is 16, ie her victim's next birthday.
I suspect her position of power over him is an aggravating factor in sentencing.

You can look up the sentencing guidelines for any offense, it is easy reading.

[–]Ody_ssey 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm surprise they managed to jail her. She will be sent rehabilitation center anyway according to new UK policies for women prisoners.

[–]Skinnyguy202 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Seriously 🤦🏽‍♂️? You're a 35 year old woman with a 15 year old boy when there are LITERALLY thousands of men your age and up that could go with your sexual desire but you decide to go for a kid? I just don't understand what that boy had that GROWN MEN don't. What can you get from a 15 year old boy (that can't even get a car yet), that you can't get from a 35, 45 year old man?

Answer: Power. Control. She couldn't get either one of those from a grown man (because there are grown men that have all the power in the relationship) so she goes to someone with changing hormones, someone that's going through puberty, and someone that is vulnerable to this stuff. And unfortunately, it was the 15 year old boy.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

And any grown man who is “jealous” of this kid ... you have got to be kidding me. They’re seriously jealous of a teenage boy?

This shit has to stop and it has to stop being romanticized as “every boy’s dream.” It’s disgusting and teachers are there to TEACH. If I were this kid’s father and all his buddies were congratulating him, I would shut them down immediately. They wouldn’t be congratulating him anymore after that.

[–]MBV-09-C 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Seconded, that disgusts me when I see idiots going "where was that teacher when I was in school?" Like, damn, the kid just got raped and your first instinct is to jump in and joke about how your sex life is apparently so hopeless you wish to be raped? The hell is wrong with those people?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They’re not only hopeless but also extremely desperate. And it also pisses me off when I say exactly what you said, and people think we’re “victim blaming” men.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Absolutely. it's disgusting how people victim blame men when they get raped. everytime i see comments like that, i get pretty frustrated. i also can't help but wonder if they would say things like that if the roles were reversed

[–]Skinnyguy202 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah I agree. If you have fantasy of getting raped, ask somebody to roleplay with you if your desire for being raped by a woman is that bad for you to go and comment stuff like that. Like someone in the thread said, they're just desperate.

[–]NormalFemale 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

The article said she was 25 (and then 35) but still yeah there's tons of single men at 25 or 35. Why she had to go fuck up a young boys start in life is despicable. I have a 15 yr old son and idk what is do if I found out that happened to him. I'd most likely be the one in jail from getting retribution.

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Try to keep that secret from your son. One of the reasons victims don't talk to parents is fear that they will go Rambo and make everything much worse.

You could look up the UK parole system.
I don't know the UK but in some countries prisoners become eligible to apply for a parole hearing half way through their sentence, or a bit more or less. Not at 1/12 of her sentence.

[–]McFeely_Smackup 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why is "outdoor sex" part of the headline... Seems unnecessarily specific

[–]PsychopathicalAurora 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

the age gap should be the length of the sentence imo

[–]RedditTogetherStrong 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah it’s really awful, doesn’t matter what crime, men and women should have equal sentences she should be a registered child predator and rapist

[–]Dank-Doodle-Meemes 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She deserves at least 20 years in prison and to be a registered sex offender

[–]antilopes 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Teachers are deregistered when convicted. It is done by the teaching authorities not by the court. She won't be employable with children.

Parole is not gendered. All prisoners are eligible to apply at the same percentage of their sentence, if their behavior in prison has been OK. Unless it can be shown they have a high risk of reoffending, they are paroled.

It is normal and desirable for sex offenders to be paroled half way through their sentence.

There are high risk sex offenders who don't get paroled, they are a minority but they are practically all men. So examining sentencing statistics for "bias" won't be useful.

There are shithole countries where the sex offenders register is implemented punitively to be a permanent danger and impediment to the offender, but the UK is civilized. People are given a finite sentence then are allowed to rejoin society.

Police checks can be done by employers and organisations for sensitive jobs e.g. having contact with children, or in a position of trust with money.

UK is not India, and the offence he was sentenced for was not what she did.

Daniel Barber, Kandice's husband, had appeared as a witness in her defence twice where he described her as his 'rock' and said their relationship was 'as strong as ever', pointing out to jurors that he had matching tattoos with his wife of four years.

Does the NHS cover tattoo removal if your wife is a child rapist?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

she should be shanked in prison

[–]annalmsw -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Why not focus on the 99.9% of the rapists that are men?

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are various ways to count the % of men, no reasonable method gives anything like 99.9%.

You could get part way there if you use circular reasoning, picking a legal or statistical definition which defines all or nearly all female rapists out of existence.

To hit 99.9% you would need to add an extra factor - the gendered filtering which occurs at every stage between offending and sentencing.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

they cant lmao theyre too stuck up on themselves

Why didn't I have teachers like her?

It's not fair.

And it's absurd to jail women for this. She gave the guy pleasure and raised his self-esteem.

[–]Jepekula 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

It's absurd to jail men for rape, they give women pleasure and raise their self-esteem.

You heard it here first, lads.

[+]Particular_Rent7172 -20 points-19 points-18 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

Do you think these women should go to jail because men are imprisoned for this?

You should have demanded not to jail men. Although I don’t think women have the same attitude to sex.

[–]MBV-09-C 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Yes, they should. If you force someone into having sex without consent, or take advantage of a kid who cannot legally consent, that is rape. Why you somehow perceive it to be worse when a man rapes and somehow not at all when a woman rapes is baffling to me. If this is some kind of fetish you have, this isn't the place to be sharing it, let alone telling us we should be encouraging it to happen to young boys.

[+]Particular_Rent7172 -13 points-12 points-11 points 5 years ago* (5 children) | Copy Link

I have never been a 16 year old girl. I don’t know what they are experiencing, but they say this horrible experience is worse than anything. Ok, so be it. I don't get into this.

But I know something about how to be teenage boys. And this woman did not harm the boy. So she shouldn't be in jail.

If I take the house away from a minor, taking advantage of the fact that he does not understand what kind of documents he is signing, I am a criminal. But if I give my house to a child, taking advantage of the fact that he does not understand what he is signing - I'm um ... a weird guy.

Men and women have different attitudes towards sex. Women give sex to a "worthy" partner as a reward. This is the value they give away. Little girls may not understand how much their vagina really "costs" and what they can get for it. Men get sex as a boon. They are not the same thing.

[–]MBV-09-C 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You know about how YOU were as a 16 year old boy, you do not have the sum knowledge and experience of how all teenage boys are affected by this because of that. Look up Hermesmann v. Seyer, even as early as 13 years old, you can get put on the hook for child support because an older woman 'took advantage of you' before you could consent. Would that not harm the boy to know he now is punished for being the victim of a crime? That he now has a kid while still being a kid himself?

You know of your one experience where nothing went wrong, and admit your experience lacks for girls and give the proper concern to them, but have no concern that not every boy is going to think and behave like you do, think about that.

[–]Particular_Rent7172 -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

If a woman has infected a boy with an STD. Or gave birth from him - this is a completely different case. And I will never be on the side of a woman here.

But in this case, the guys agreed and did not suffer in any way. So no problem.

[–]antilopes 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

We have the law on age of consent because the risk of catastrophic, irrepairable, life-changing and sometimes life-ending harm is judged to be too high, not because it is inevitable.

Your claim that boys are not harmed by this sort of thing is simply wrong. Some are harmed severely. There are victims on this sub.
People who work with sexually abused children find that boys are affected just as badly as girls.

Some of the more common symptoms are an inability to trust people, and problems with boundaries - defining, establishing, defending. A very common problem is they seem to have a beacon on them that abusers are attracted to, and they don't understand how the beacon works. They have trouble recognising abusers, and they may be positively attracted to them. Abused children have a much higher incidence of unusual and less stable gender identity and sexual orientation.

There are many cases of both boys and girls who have only or mainly fond memories of underage relationships with adults. Some maintain that view all their lives.

My first lover was old enough to be my mother, I don't blame her at all. She felt a bit guilty about distracting me from girls my age. I didn't really understand. I enjoyed our strange and limited relationship for several years, she was a wonderful lover. It did sink in eventually, 30 years later. She should have tried harder to explain but I still don't resent it.

The difference in age, maturity, experience, income often causes a large power difference. The rule about power is that it strongly tends to corrupt relationships, even with the best will. People fool themselves about being able to behave responsibly with power, and some don't even try to fool themselves.

Some children feel OK during the relationship until near the end, where they start to understand what was done to them or to see another side of their partner. Some see it very differently within a few months after leaving, or a few years, or a decade or two.

There are some key dates. One is when they reach the same age their adult abuser had been, and imagine being with a child. Another is when they have their own child who reaches the age they had been, and they imagine an adult preying on their child. They remember how mature they felt, and how wrong they were about that.

Your ideas about how sex is transactional and different for males and females looks utterly bizarre from a modern western viewpoint. Here it is found among incels and MGTOWs, and is related to Redpill ideas I guess. And extreme traditional conservative Christians perhaps.

[–]Particular_Rent7172 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Gods ... What do the incels have to do with it? When I talked about the difference between the sexes, I didn't mean all those funny memes about Chad.

It is not necessary to call everyone who disagrees with the feminists fanatics-Christians or fanatics-incels.

I am an atheist and do not consider myself an Incel. (Though some memes are really funny.)

I'm talking about Sex Differences in Sexual Desires

https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/228529381.pdf

Neurological differences

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5123903/

Yes, the behavior of the sexes is likely to differ due to the combination of social and biological factors. But this does not give the right to exclude biological factors and expect the same behavior in males and females of a biological species. Males are larger, more hierarchical, more inclined to take risks and tend to maximize the number of sexual contacts. (There are always exceptions, yes).

And back to our guy. He is not 8 years old. About what your arguments might be correct. He is 16. He has reached biological puberty. He no longer has unconditional submission to the authority of the grown-ups. Coercion at his age is simply unlikely. And I cannot believe the possible harm to him from sex.

Is there any research on the effects of sex with adult women on sexually mature boys?

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes of course there is decades of research on this. It shows a range of adverse measures in boys and girls who have sex early, and more severe ones if an adult is involved.

This boy was 15 not 16.

[–]Jepekula 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

I am pleasantly surprised that your logic is consistent.

But no, I would not demand men to not be jailed for the same crime, which I uphold is a crime, because it infringes on the fundamental human right of physical inviolability.

E: Well turns out his logic was, in the end, inconsistent. Too bad he never replied with that nonsense to me.

[–]antilopes -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Perfectly consistent logic can be applied to horseshit, giving a result of horseshit.

the fundamental human right of physical inviolability

Yes that principle is certainly breached in rape, and maybe that would be a tort in civil law.

Possibly it is constructed that way in US criminal law too, though I imagine the US law originated in British law which, feminist scholars tell us, originated in the property rights of the father or husband.

But rape is illegal in all countries despite their differing legal systems and I don't know that those origins are even relevant today. We don't prosecute adult rape and lock people away for several years because of indignation about violation of a principle. We do it because it has a high probability of causing severe and long lasting or permanent harm.

With age of consent violations with willing participants I see even less point in framing the offence as against physical inviolability.

[–]Jepekula 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The whole legal system is based on the idea of human rights that are not to be infringed upon, there’s a reason they’re pretty much the first thing in the constitution. No clue if the US or UK law works differently, and I don’t really care either.

The harm done by violent crimes is exactly what is breaching physical inviolability. I don’t really understand your point, as you just seem to be saying the same thing as I but put differently.

[–]antilopes 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Trivial breaches of physical inviolability are trivial, they are commonly ignored or given trivial penalties. Breach of that principle is not in itself a big deal.

[–]Jepekula 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Minor breaches of physical inviolability are given minor penalties because they are minor breaches of physical inviolability. If breach of physical inviolability was "not a big deal", the law would not penalize it. As it stands, physical inviolability is one of the fundamental human rights on top of which our whole legal code rests on.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

would you say things like that if it had been a man raping a teenage girl?

[+]Particular_Rent7172 -7 points-6 points-5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Not. And upper I wrote why.

You’re a disgusting person. “Let’s encourage middle aged women to fuck minors.”

For anyone who hasn’t read the full article:

  • her husband thinks “it’s all a joke” and is standing by her.

  • she threatened to accuse the victim of rape if he told anyone.

  • she outright denied that the victim had ever seen her naked, even though the police were called because the nudes she’d sent the victim were circulated around the school to the point where the headteacher saw them.

  • she has 3 children and 2 step children, but her husband is standing by her!!

  • she described her actions to her mum as “I’ve been a bit silly”.

  • she told the victim his Penis was bigger than her husbands.

  • she instigated sexual games with the victim during class.

  • she raped the victim in a field.

  • she repeatedly googled terms like “alibi” and “what to say to allow for where you’ve been.” as well as “secluded getaways” and researched hotels.

  • she added the victim on social media, before asking for his phone on a sports day, opening his Snapchat and inputting her details.

  • her defence lawyer claimed that at 5ft tall, she was “too short” for them to have intercourse whilst standing up. 🙄

  • she claimed that she was “going through a difficult time with her husband” (again, he’s staying with her!!) and that they’d recently lost a pregnancy, which, after the victim showed her attention, led to the events unfolding.

Honestly, it just gets worse the more you read.
