Agreed. I've had my fair share of platonic relationships with girls, and don't regret any of them. Guys and girls can be friends if they hit it off on similar interests, or just because their personalities mesh.

Agreed! And a side note, I think it makes you better at dating too, because it really helps you to see people you're attracted too as whole people rather than just objects of romantic/sexual desire. Part of why (imo) my boyfriend and I get along so well is because our respective hobbies/extracurriculars led us to each have primarily friends of the opposite sex. Because of that, neither of us see the opposite sex as a mystical creature, and we're very secure in both our personal friendships and romantic relationship.

This is true, most of the people that i befriended online and my university were women. Back in middle and high school i mainly had male friends, but i always felt weird, and they would say that im too emotional for them, and i would befriend women online from nearby cities and we would talk, and university was the first time i had IRL female friends and they were all happy, friendly open arms, while the guys were weird and very asocial. I think it had something to do with being raised mostly around women. I was always an extroverted, kind, empathetic and emotional person, which was uncommon in certain societies. Some of my male friends had said that was too sensitive and emotional at times, and a few women have said it too.

I love my female friends, i can't be around only guys 24/7, i thought it could be, but i've realized that i feel at ease and get along with women better. Even my grad school group is mostly women, and i like it. Even when i was a redpill follower, i disagreed with this because i had made tons of lovely female friends that weren't always sexual, they were normal.

Redpillers, manospherians, and any socially conservative culture is weird about this. I felt insecure about having mainly female friends, because i thought it was socially unacceptable to be platonic friends with women without trying to sleep with them. I've never been the type to befriend women just to sleep with them, and somehow women felt comfortable talking to me and befriending me lol.

Actually no, there some exceptions. But if there is just a minimum of sexual attraction it will not gonna work. At least not for me. And if it’s for the other person I don’t wanna be in contact with them because I don’t wanna hurt them.

Members of the opposite sex can never have a genuine friendship until they are both not attracted to each other. Usually that is never the case. Usually at least one person is sexual attracted to the other.

You can be friendly, social, and have passion, but a true friendship? Yeah, if you are a guy and your car breaks down and your insurance won't cover a tow, who do you call? Your male bro, or your female friend?

Being a "beta orbiter" isn't about having female friends. It's about having sexual desire for a woman who keeps you at arm's length and exploits that desire with 0 chance of it ever going somewhere.

I know plenty of women who tease and flirt and lead men on, but when the men get any ideas they say "we're just friends". This is the situation you don't wanna be in, if a woman is your friend, you make it a hard rule that you'll never EVER have sex with this woman even if she begs on her knees.

Then you're a friend, not an orbiter.
