I (29M) was with my STBXW for about 7.5 years as I was in the army when I met her. Long story short I was a virgin when I met her and she gave me an STD in which case I should’ve annulled the marriage early on but I stayed thinking we’d be stronger than ever. Come a few years ago she ran off and joined the military and ditched myself and the dogs we have. No kids or property involved, but she’s making some unreasonable requests. I sent her all the furniture, electronics, etc. as she tricked me into thinking she wanted to get back with me and I just want her to send me my things back on her dime plus a couple other minor requests. She is in a completely different state (Hawaii). Not sure what I should do as I’ve obviously never dealt with this before. Also, although I received papers in the mail, I was not required to sign for anything so there’s no proof I received them.
