This isn't relevant to men's rights in any manner and is instead a critique of word reclamation. This is neither a liberal nor a men's rights point of view so I'm not sure why it's even here.

Personally, I have no problem with word reclamation and have no desire to use language that people find hurtful to their community. Removing racism from the discussion is removing the relevant portion of this issue from the equation. That's like saying "okay remove the killing part. Why is murder wrong?"

And finally, racism is far from something "historic".
