Hello. Just found this subreddit, and I ve been thinking about toxic masculinity and how it affects society. What I mean about toxic masculinity are certain behaviours imposed by society on men (a man must earn money for their family, a man must not cry, a man cant show emotions), earning himself the right to a relationship. This type of behaviour can lead to certain problems, like a certain entitlement for man to be with someone (typical, Im a nice guy, why wont you give me your number) and a feeling of not beeing enough (i did everything right and this woman didnt give me her number. Something must be wrong with me), which can lead to depression. I know that men dont like to be confronted about this topic, because I actually got offended by it the first i heard about it, but now, I believe it is a problem that both femininists and mens rights activists should want to tackle
