Toxic Masculinity is a shaming tactic.

For women, we call that internalized misogyny. Literally, internalizing hatred of women.

For men, it's a type of masculinity that's toxic.

Feminists are HUGE about choice of words and how they impact society. This was not an accident.

The reason people hate the word "toxic masculinity" because the people who use the word are feminists.
>The very people who originally said that men don't suffer disadvantages at all and are "privileged". The very people who tried to compare men's rights to "white rights" in an effort to make it sound absurd. Those people suddenly became experts on what men's problems are after realizing that they couldn't prevent men from speaking up anymore.
>The very people who refer to male critics as "sexually frustrated incels" (questioning their sexuality-and therefore their manhood), are the first to claim that "toxic masculinity" is what negatively impacts our manhood.

The "toxic masculinity" rhetoric was created and promoted out of backlash and entitlement-not genuine concern for men.

Men have smaller tear ducts compared to Women and increased testosterone levels channels emotions differently. Men express emotions Via ACTIONS and by the tone of their words, its upto Women to realize this instead of telling us to cry like them when Men's tear ducts are literally incapable of doing so. Doing something as menial as changing the carburetor is more Cathartic than Crying to me.

like a certain entitlement for man to be with someone

Everyone wants to be with someone, we're a SOCIAL species. Feminists re-frame this basic human need as "Entitlement", YES i do feel entitled to my BASIC needs as a Human Being and that doesn't mean i go around demanding others to love me. I don't wish loneliness on anyone, loneliness is worse than death. Its the worst form of punishment you could subject a human to, to say that its something Men should just "Accept" as their fate is evil.

This is why we have school shooters, we as a Society have decided that some men just deserve to die alone in the gutter and they shouldn't complain, some of these Men get "revenge" on a Society that made them feel less than human. I don't endorse acts of Terror, but only they seem to get noticed UNLIKE the millions of men who commit suicides due to feeling worthless.

And what is the "solution" in a case like this exactly? Unless, Society starts treating Men&Boys like human beings with value, they will naturally feel worthless unless they're rich or with a Woman.

Also, fuck this name! Masculinity is everything GOOD about Men, everything BAD about Men is "NOT Masculinity", calling it "Toxic" implies there are aspects of Men that are inherently Toxic. I get that Feminists believe in the idea that Gender is a "Social Construct" but that's only half the truth. Men&Women are born with innate behaviors&inclinations towards certain patterns that can never be changed, that is what we call "Masculinity" and "Femininity". So, Feminists are basically saying that there's an inherent aspect of male biology that is "Toxic", and i don't have to tell you why this is wrong.

Have you figured out the logic if it's the society is imposing these standards on men then why it's called toxic masculinity and not toxic society?

How is it different than saying women getting raped is because of toxic femininity?

Toxic masculinity is an alias for "all men and boys are potential rapist", "masculinity makes men to commit rape therefore it is toxic and boys should be taught not to rape".

Now every men's issue is blamed on men themselves because their masculinity is seen as toxic so it's somehow responsible for that. This propaganda statement always works to shut down advocacy on men's issues.

Toxic masculinity doesn't exist. It's a victim blaming buzzphrase designed to shame men and shut them up. The implication that every problem a man has stems from his male identity is fucking disgusting and if we said that about women they'd be calling for our public lynching.

"Why do we keep getting raped?"

"I don't know, maybe it's your fault for being too feminine. Try being more like a man and you'll get raped less, I promise."

Do you see the problem here? This is what they're doing, and you have not only accepted it, you're perpetuating it.

Feminists invented language to shut us up because they realized that anyone being able to speak out without being shamed back into the corner was a problem for them. All their buzzphrases reek of it. "Feminists are fighting men's issues, MRAs aren't needed". "You're probably just not getting laid enough". "The patriarchy hurts men too". "Toxic masculinity" and, if it's a woman, what is it? "Internalized misogyny". They created this fucked up doublespeak as a weapon. They loaded the gun, handed it to you, and you shot yourself in the head with it.

Ok let's apply it for women. Because of toxic womanhood who make women think they are queen they commit domestic and sexual abuse against men and boys. That also make thel believe that they are entitled to anything they ask from men and therefore can punish those not giving them what they want (using physical/emotional/sexual violence or false allegations).

Because of toxic womanhood who value "women's purity" they do not report rape.

Because of toxic womanhood who value obedient wife, women victims of domestic abuse don't report it.

Because of toxic womanhood who value physical appearance, women have anorexia and use make up, tested on animals there toxic womanhood is animal abuse.

What you are describing is 'the empathy gap'. We can reduce the empathy gap by caring about men more. We can start by not treating men like they are broken and need fixing.

I’m not saying that men aren’t raised with unhealthy expectations on themselves or women raised with unhealthy expectations of men. But when men are raised to think manhood needs to be earned and women are not raised to think womanhood needs to be earned, that shouldn’t be classified as “toxic masculinity.” It should be called “internalized misandry.” The idea that men aren’t born good enough.

The feminist concept of this is that men teach it to men. The reality is that it develops during early childhood development (which is currently the domain of women).

Also many concepts around this are only harmful to some men, not all men. For instance there’s nothing wrong with a man encouraging his buddy to press one more rep on the bench, by saying “man up.” There is something wrong when you use it to shame men.

Feminism uses this kind of shaming all the time. Men lack “emotional intelligence” = man up. Men should “be better” = man up. “Men are childish” = man up. (Mansplaining, manspreading, men should lean in) = man up. Those are toxic uses of “man up.” And those terms are saturated in feminism.

Those "problems" are not created by "society", rather a reflection of nature. I know humans are arrogant as fuck, and believe themselves above and seperate from nature, but it's horseshit.

Simply put, a person must feed themself and their family. A man is also responsible for the protection of himself and his family. Living in a society doesn't really change that. We like to pretend that we can outsource our protection to other men and ignore reality. Every single day many people learn the error of that mentality, or not, as they are dead.

This is mostly bullshit. Most men simply don't communicate emotions the same as women. Men also don't respond to the same situation, with the same emotions. We are not broken women.

No one is entitled to friendship, respect, a mate, nothing. If you want something, you have to earn it. A lot of people seem to have this twisted mentality that they are owed all manner of things by virtue of existing. It's faulty thinking, and will do nothing but bite you in the ass time and time again.
