Everyone has biases, especially the ones who claim to not be biased. I dont think that it is about male or female. Look for someone who seems to think rather than feel. Perhaps ask them about their own biases, that should flush out something. But in reality we can never be sure in advance, as we can all come out with bias in the right circumstances.

Depends on individual. A male feminist, radical feminist and a cuck are as bad. You have to look for someone responsible and reputed.

Honestly unless the woman is a feminist most women are actually more fair and can see when another woman is lying and more likely to call them out on it. A man sadly is more likely to “feel bad” for the woman and miss those cues due to society putting women on a pedestal. Its pretty common in the court room and why women get off with lesser charges than a man does. It depends on the mediators personal views really if you get a feminist your fucked.

I would say so I was having issues with two female classmates who were sensitive snowflakes and needed to harden up so a female teacher said she would mediate a discussion to solve these issues It took about to seconds for everyone to start blaming me for everything and despite all 3 of them verbally attacking me I just told them their feelings don’t matter and I don’t care and they left a meeting they asked for and the mediator didn’t stop them and still took there side

It really depends I have been through more family law mediations than I care to count. Both the best and worst mediators I have ever had have been women.

What you need to be worried about is YOUR lawyers' relationship is the mediator, and your willingness and pocketbook to fight it out in court if/when it breaks down.

I really can't stress it enough if your lawyer does not know the mediator, and how they stand before you walk into the door, its time to find a different lawyer.

Also, if you don't feel like mediation is going well and a waste of your time and money, drop a demand on the table that the other party will not take like you get sole everything plus, legal fees, and a few k a month in child support. Tell the mediator that is the best you can offer, and have them declare an impasse, and walk.

Women are more biased than men and especially have FOUR TIMES higher in-group gender bias against men.

I'd get a male mediator this time.
