Crosspost "Am I (27 M) wrong for divorcing my wife (28 F) due to constant arguing?" from /r/marriageadvice:
We’ve been married for about a year and a half, the marriage has been nothing but stress and daily arguments. We dated for 8 years prior to marriage, though we didn’t realize how incompatible we were until moving in together after marriage. Sometimes I feel like I am keeping myself in the marriage due to the unknown of finding love again. I honestly feel as if I am not the best version of myself when I’m around my wife. When we are away from one another it’s like a weight lifted off of my shoulders, as the constant arguing and disagreements has taken a toll on my mental health. Counseling isn’t an option as it would not be something I’m interested in. Any other men ever been in my situation? I’d really appreciate some advice.
Edit ** We do not have any kids.
