My 24 yo male cousin is married to a 42 yo woman that has been emotionally manipulating and abusing him for three years...She is actively isolating him from his family, and she is also digitally abusing his family. I’m worried. How can we help him?

My little cousin is involved with a woman twice his age.

She has been abusive toward him for years; particularly on social media where she forces him to make public apologies among other things.

She has now taken his cell phone and factory reset it so that he does not have access to anyone’s numbers or contact info. She has deleted all of us from his social media accounts.

She is texting his parents and mine as well as myself awful things about him and what she thinks about us.

How can I contact my cousin? She will not allow him access to his phone. I’ve thought about calling his HR department, but I don’t want to air dirty laundry. I guess I could say it’s a family emergency and that I couldn’t get a hold of him via his cell??

He lives out of state.

Can we contact a legal authority of any kind on his behalf? I ask this because he is a man; are we likely to be laughed at when we suggest he’s the victim of DV?
