Ffs Zelia, stop undermining rape by misusing it to emotionally manipulate the public.

So, reading the article it's been mentioned thst the judge was ignoring evidence, or rather, that he refused to accept what was given as evidence, in this trial. Her lawyers are arguing a grounds for appeal based on this. Therefor, it is entirely possible she was raped (according to what this article states). If anyone has any other sources I'd be glad to read them as there is more to this than we can see.

The age of consent in Cyprus is 17! At least one of these boys that she falsely accuses was underage and I bet you fuck all gets done about that.

She spent a month in jail prior to being bailed out. I doubt that she's get anymore time. Probably a suspended sentence and they'll deport her out of the country ASAP so as not to deal with the problem any longer.

This was said by one of the women's rights activists present at the protest. Funny how when this point is brought up about falsely accused men it is simply handwaved away.
