The fact that there are MRAS complaining about being discriminated against by their female bosses clearly shows that some people can perceive women as dominant or oppressive. But what you meant to ask was: can large numbers of people really believe that women are dominant or oppressive. The answer is yes: People can believe in all sorts of things. Large numbers of people can believe that God made the world in 6 days, or that Aliens built the pyramids. You can mainstream pretty much any belief in the right social and economic context. No, they will always be seen as victims, that's their prime method of gaining social power. Despite feminism's claim of strong-women manufacturing they too depend on people's natural inclination towards viewing women as morally pure, or at least morally non-responsible of the world's ills, by default.

Is male pride too strong?

I've always thought this was a big obstacle in getting more men involved. For example most men see a failed relationship as the man's fault, never the woman's fault. You can talk about "crazy women" if you want, but the assumption is that a man is supposed to be "man enough" to control a "crazy woman". Be her rock, be her pillar, etc. Almost like if she acts crazy, it's his fault for not being supportive enough.

Many people will be able to see individual female tyrants as tyrants. Almost nobody will ever see women as a group as oppressors, whether they are or not.

That is because it is not what is being done. Because it is not "all women", it is feminism, that is critiqued. Because most of these people, rightly so in my opinion, don't believe the narrative of oppression is the right one to use, and don't believe in criticizing a whole gender on the base of their gender, when ideology is much more relevant.

Now, I would tend to agree with you that it would be extremely difficult to manage to get a society to blame all women, to see them as oppressor. And that is a good thing, in my opinion.

On the other hand, it is very much possible for a whole society to blame all men, to see them all as oppressors. And that is wrong. Because it is always wrong to blame people for the circumstances of their birth, not because it would be extremely hard to impossible to retaliate in kind.

Unless you gene edit gynocentrism out of men, women will never be seen as oppressors by society. If you're looking forward to major cultural shifts, prepare to be disappointed. The "fight" was over before it began; even if women start ritualistically genociding men, they will still be perceived as oppressed.

The only thing you can do is try to maintain a framework under which it is realistic for a self-respecting man to segregate himself from women, and by extension gynocentrism. Currently, this is possible with MGTOW + Pence rule. Assuming our species survives this century, future technologies will make it possible for this segregation to be extended to reproduction. The minority of men who wish to not be enslaved by gynocentrism will be able to live satisfactory lives that way.
