Not pussypass denied but that judge was 100% right to put her arrogant ass in jail

[–]dokks 11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Not at all. While laughing was TOTALLY inappropriate, NO American should be able to ruin another's life (regardless how heinous you make think they are) just based upon opinion and emotion which is EXACTLY what this "judge" did here.

This is NOT the American way. And yes I agree the woman is despicable, but not criminal. This is wrong.

[–]Hesh_From_Texas 24 points25 points26 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can become a criminal based off of your behavior in court, like this nasty cunt. Go lookup contempt of court, you don’t get to behave like you want because you think it’s okay, court has rules.

[–]monkeyboi08 12 points13 points14 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Courts are serious places. Disrespecting the court is a crime. Without rules like this people could interfere with the legal system.

[–]stacker55 75 points76 points77 points 7 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

pussypass was only denied for like a day. she came back to court and apologized and was given 1 day in jail, time served.

what kinda fucking lesson are you gonna learn only having to spend a day in jail. this judge did the right thing only to turn around and fuck it up

[–]oinkm00 51 points52 points53 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Damn dude, I get that what she did was tasteless af but I firmly believe jail should be reserved for serious offenses. The overwhelming American need for revenge by way of jailing often and for long periods of time is just wrong. A nice fat fine would’ve just as nicely done the trick, AND saved taxpayer money for her stay in jail

[–]stacker55 13 points14 points15 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

if she upheld the contempt charge there wouldve been a fine. i think its 1500 dollars per charge. still they were laughing at the fiance of the man their daughter killed leaving 5 children fatherless. she deserved more than a day in the system and a fine they'll maybe pay 20 dollars a month on

[–]sadowsentry 8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree that they also deserve a heftier fine, but I also agree that more time in jail would be a waste. Put that money to good use.

[–]IshitONcats 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Agreed

[–]Rezenik 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah the original was too much but I feel a week or at least a few days would have been better than one, most people wouldn't learn anything from just one.

[–]Saarthalian 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Better to jail scum like this with no moral values than having the drug users Tossrd in.

[–]01chef1 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I think the judge would have gotten way too much stick if she did the full 93 days, ideally she should've been locked up longer but I can see why the judge changed her mind

[–]dingoperson2 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Laughing during court proceedings over a DUI death is fucked up, but 93 days in jail for it is insane.

[–]thats0K 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

agreed. I think like 2 weeks is good enough.

[–]TheKhopesh 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

laughs about murdering a man

"2 weeks is good enough"

U wot?

Man, if someone does that they should be gagged, tied up, and put in a cell with a 400lbs all-muscle no-neck body builder looking rapist doing life. Then the guard tells Mr. Muscle-Rapist "You've got 20 minutes alone with her. No fatal injuries, no broken bones, and she needs to be able to talk afterward."

Then the guard walks out and closes the door to go get a soda or take a short lunch break.

3 months is an insult.

[–]thats0K 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

laughing about murder equates to rape in your eyes as a punishment? glad you're not a judge.

[–]TheKhopesh 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's all deserving of removal from existence.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Agreed. Should've lasted longer, but I think it's a baby step in the right direction. The look on her face was one of pure disbelief that she actually had to be responsible for her actions for once.

[–]SlobOnMyKnobb 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Jail for laughing? Nah man.

[–]thats0K 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

let someone kill your son or daughter and have someone laugh in court about it then tell me how you feel

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Defendants mother was laughing during the court proceedings and is promptly thrown in jail.

[–]Fueryous 13 points14 points15 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Was reduced to 1 day. That irks me.

[–]HuckFinn69 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Laughing should be the death penalty tbh

[–]thats0K 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Something is definitely wrong with you, Jesus Christ.

[–]TheKhopesh 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The thing wrong with me is a societal lack of righteous fury directed toward those who allow subhumans like her to get away with shit with something as meaningless as a mere 93 days of inconvenience. (3 months for her, a lifetime of trauma for a family, THAT isn't justice.)

Extremes are the only thing most people like her understand, so they're the only means by which they will be stopped from doing this sort of shit.

You think that extreme punishment for unacceptable behavior is fucked up? Try minimal sentencing toward a woman who laughs at the misery of a family she stole a loved one from.

At least harsh punishment toward that kind of person is warranted, even if it is a cruel level punishment to drive home how unacceptable her behavior is.

The undeserved cruelty she inflicted on the family will only be made right by showing similar scumbags of the world how screwed they will be if they do something like that. You start showing cruelty for cruelty, and though it won't stop ALL future unprovoked cruelty, it'll certainly make monsters like her be more careful about their actions if they see what's in store for them if they go through with their unprovoked shit.

Notice the word "unprovoked". People who don't do anything wrong don't deserve harsh things to be done to them. But people who think they can get away with doing evil lose all right to be treated well. At that point, just stick them in a room with someone who's just as cruel as them, grab a bag of popcorn, pull up a chair, and let karma/nature take it's course.

[–]satanssockpuppet 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Who goes to a sentencing with her cans on display like that?

[–]Tgunner192 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

she paid a small fortune for them and will display them every chance she gets

[–]thats0K 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

a trashy ass insecure piece of shit who laughs about her daughter killing someone drunk.

[–]thatgoodfeelin 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

idk about this one.

[–]lovejac93 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

93 days holy shit.

Fuck her, though

[–]WhosUrBuddiee 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She said Sorry and was released a few hours later

[–]lovejac93 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

at least a night in jail might have woken her up to what a pos she was being

[–]TheKhopesh 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That judge actually went light on her.

A judge has the complete authority to hold people in contempt. Now, fun fact, if a judge holds you in contempt THEY GET TO DETAIN YOU FOR AS LONG AS THEY LIKE!

One man I heard about in the early 2000s was detained for over a year because he failed to answer a question about a fraud case.

If she laughed in court about her killing someone while drunk, I'd hold her for at LEAST 6 months (generally, contempt is 1-3 months at the minimum, or if the judge is feeling generous, until you say under oath what the judge told you to testify about).

Now, while you're part of an active trial, the judge can hold you as long as they like with NO CONTACT TO ANYONE INCLUDING YOUR LEGAL REPRESENTATION! (This is because the judge's direct order supersedes legal council, and there's no legitimate reason for your representation to talk to you until the judge gets what he/she wants from you. Til you do what the judge wants, there are no other matters allowed to be discussed with you unless the judge personally requests it.)

So that lady-judge could have had that woman thrown in a cell for months without letting her so much as hear a single word from another human being, or look on another person's face.

If she wants, she can put someone in solitary confinement.

That bitch got off easy.

[–]reyemh 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I may be playing devils advocate over here, but is there really anything illegal about laughing? Sure it is undeniably rude, but can you really send someone to jail for a natural reaction? I'm no lawyer but if someone is I'd love an explanation!

[–]TylerDurdenUMD 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It’s called contempt of court. It’s also called being a decent fucking human being. Why is that concept alone so fucking hard for people to understand? The dumb selfish fucking cunt on trial killed someone and ruined a lot of other people’s lives.

Giggle Bitch was lucky someone from the victim’s family didn’t put the boots to her face.

[–]reyemh 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yes you're right. Unfortunately people have the right to be assholes a lot of the time though.

[–]TylerDurdenUMD 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not when you’re in court.

[–]JNC96 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not in courtroom 502. Not today or any other day

[–]SamJ999 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

If you can’t see what’s wrong with it......just keep your mouth shut.

[–]reyemh 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There is a big difference between the law and what's right or wrong. I am trying to understand the law.

[–]clockworkdurian42 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Everyone can see why it's wrong but breaking social etiquette shouldnt land you in jail.

[–]Throwredditaway2019 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not about social etiquette, it's Contempt of Court. She probably would have got a warning if she hadn't talked back to the judge when they brought her back in to the court room.

[–]reyemh 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

As I said, I agree that it's rude and disrespectful. However I don't understand what law she broke in doing this. Do you? I would love to know.

[–]Danzzo36 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The patriarchy!!!! Women are so oppressed !

[–]Fantoche_Dreemurr 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a new level of fucked up

[–]modern_rabbit 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“And you can go, too,” the judge added, pointing to Kosal’s mother, Donna. “Because if you don’t know how to act, you can go to jail. So leave.”

Lillard continued to lecture the courtroom, and told others who dared to “laugh and smirk” they could join the woman in jail.

judge

"this is a court of law..."

There has to be more to this story.

[–]Soyboy- 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This article doesn't have an image, but the mother has some pretty obviously fake tits, which looks pretty depressing on a 50+ woman who has seen better days.

[–]munchybunchy63 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can tell by what she wore to court that she doesn’t give a flying fuck. Stupid bitch.

[–]Thatsyourissue 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

White trash. Dressed like a whore

[–]1NationUnderGrOunD 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This actually should be taken down since she came right back the next day and was released....

[–]Drgonzoishere 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Is it just my phone but evertime I click to watch I ended up getting redirected to spam sites?..

[–]Revorob 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Respect to the judge for landing that tactless bitch in a cell. Whilst the initial sentence of 93 days was probably excessive, I don't believe the judge ever intended to go through with it. I suspect the judge handed down 93 days to give the stupid woman something to think about and to emphasise the gravity of the offence. I agree that the judge dismissing the sentence after one day and the woman showing contrition was the best outcome.

[–]Hoof_Harded 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

r/trashy

[–]dkt 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The dead chick started running away from an accident she was in and got hit by another car?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don’t like this specific one everytime it’s posted

1) She said she can leave the room and when she does she calls her back to jail her

2) We don’t see any of it really, but if she was laughting and that’s all she has on it there’s such a thing as nervous laughter, hell i remember my mom was laughting hysterically at my grandma’s funeral and no one judged her, just checked if she was ok. So if it was just laughting count me in for going to jail because while i’d probably be sorry for laughting it’s not unlikely at all i’d let a nervous laught out when hearing someone’s horrible life event and correlating it with one of my family’s sentensing, that’s two big things to take in

[+][deleted] -23 points-22 points-21 points 7 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Racial shit for sure. Black judge sentences white family members to jail for laughing at a black person dying. You do the math.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Honestly, I think judging your comment, you're more racist than anybody involved in the post. Nobody mentioned race. You just assumed the judge was racist instead of looking at the facts. She laughed in a trial in which her son killed someone driving while intoxicated. I fail to see where race matters at all in these situations.

[–]rabidmonkeyman 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

yeah, id say hes racist as fuck. he hates dogs too for some reason, this man is a monster

[–]PinkertonMalinkerton 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
