I'm sorry if this sounds like a non-problem but this has been weighing on me for a long time.

I'm a loader at a hardware store, so I have to move heavy things all the time. I have to go outside when it's blazing how, raining snowing or whatever to get carts because no one else will and I'm okay with that. I'm okay with doing the hardwork, and I okay with helping others. I'm asked to help all the time. To help other departments, to help others load things. To look after the registers when people need to go to the bathroom or have an emergency. Like I said that's okay with me, I like helping people. But recently, around half a year ago I felt like coming to work was more draining then usual.

And it's because I finally noticed that no one appreciates me, they just appreciate what I do. For example when I literally have a fridge on my back or just mutiple carts full of appliances, my coworkers don't wait till I'm done loading my customers they will just hand me over mutiple tickets and say get these when your done. They don't ask the departments to get them. They will literally half the customer wait 20, 30 mintues even sometimes an hour just to have me come back and do whatever task they needed done.

They don't make the person whose suppose to help me help. He just walks around the store all day talking. I told my higher helps this mutiple times but nothing, and I'm expected to do all things he didn't do because I'm me and I can do this.

Even when they finally get someone to do something, they allow that person to half ass it. Like returning appliances and dropping them infront of the store leaving it there for me to pick it up in an hour because I was on lunch. When they need something the page me by name although we are not suppose to do that. or when someone is helping me they have me stop the job I am doing and tell me to help that person when that person doesn't need it.

The internet people grab me to help load and find shit but they always ditch me. Leaving me having to do it. Or calling me to do things that aren't my job. Not even calling the department. I'm their first resort, although I have zero help and I'm super busy.

And whenever I finally tell them no, they just get so passed off at me. Again I don't mind helping. I don't mind doing things that aren't my job. But since I'm one of the only men working at the front end they keep on piling task up for me when I have my own task to do. And now I'm just drained when I step foot on the property. I use to be happy and outgoing Herr at work but now I'm not. Like that part of me is on life support or something.

Sorry for the long rant, I just needed to get this off my chest.
