I find this interesting, and haven't heard of a case like this.

Long story short, a male actor applied for a restraining order against his ex wife after she threatened "to tell people (he) had abused her and (their) daughters..., call the police... if (he) did not comply with her demands... threatened to tell people (he's) a drug addict and put (him) in prison; she threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and she threatened to destroy (his) mother"...

In my opinion, if this order is granted, it would be judicial recognition that a false accusation or threatening false accusations is a form of domestic violence in itself. This, in my opinion, is pretty significant in giving men (and women) who are falsely accused an option to protect themselves and get 'ob the record' before any such allegations come forth.
