That is absoutly fucking insane. Future employers or neighbors or romantic partners will be blind to the violence she is capable of.

Also, the article said she’s only going to be committed to a mental health ward for two years. Absoutly irresponsible. It is extremely common for schizophrenics to go off their medications and descend into psychosis repeatedly throughout their lives. Not all unmedicated schizophrenics are violent, but she has clearly proven to be violent.

It's kind of like how with the recent school shooter that was a woman there were all these articles sympathetically analysing what lead to it. Why? Because it was a woman. So it's steeped in sympathy and an underlying message that for this to happen with a woman something just must have gone terribly wrong.

Like things were going right for the men who do this, or something?

The men who shoot up schools aren't suffering from toxic masculinity. They're typically very unmasculine actually. And almost invariably have similar stories to this woman. But no sympathy there.

It's bizarre and it's like no one sees it.
