I believe this subreddit, despite it not being perfect, is playing a major positive role in the fight for men's rights. I might not agree with everything that's being said here, but one thing I can agree on and one thing which is extremely important right now is to find an alternative community away from reddit to continue the discourse. I found this 3 year old post detailing the importance of manosphere and the danger of it being erased off reddit quite revealing and it's worth a read.

I want us to have a community which has a similar structure to reddit but different from reddit. Any suggestions from fellow community members is welcome. There already have been attempts at securing a backup of this community, but it failed because not many people joined to the backup community. I think this mistake could be rectified by pinning join in links with the importance of joining them. Automod can also help by posting the sub rules and the backup community's link on every post. I am sure you all have many more useful suggestions too.

I was going to suggest lemmy.ml as it's FOSS and dencentralized, but I doubt if the creators of that website would want mensrights community over there. We are searching for something like lemmy.ml which is FOSS and decentralized but at the same time respects free speech of others. Anything?

PS: Mastadon is great, but it doesn't have a reddit like structure.
