Interesting language:

“Not a lot of guys in my opinion have come out and talked about this in the industry,” Lawrence said. “Now granted, it’s probably about a third of what women go through. Men go through this as well… I think our society is less ready to hear that situation is going on with men than they are with women.”

When Kit Harrington complained about objectification and sexism, he was successfully pressured to retract the sexism claim.

Was at the bar at weeks ago and a drunk woman started hitting on a guy with his wife sitting next to him. Kept saying he was gorgeous and that he should go coyote ugly on the bar. The couple looked uncomfortable but no one would say anything. I didn't because I could tell she would've started yelling and making the situation worse. Bartenders didn't do anything as well.

Thinking back I find it interesting that it's ingrained in us to defend a woman if this is happening to her, but not say anything if it happens to a guy.

I will treat this with the same skepticism I treated half of the metoo stories.

Washed up child actor, who wont name agency that supposedly fired him, offered role in billion dollar franchise that mainly just cast very popular well known actors, a role where a spandex suit of some kind will be required, if only he stripped down.

A lot of you make a lot of great points in this thread. About society, and the industry. That said, I do not believe all women, and I do not believe all men. This just sounds like someone that has not been relevant since 1997 wanted to pump up his podcast numbers. If he is truly outraged and his words are true, name names, name the agency. Not like it will hurt his acting career.
