It's not just infuriating but also deeply concerning when you have people who deny misandry being a real thing or will acknowledge it but still downplay and minimize it to make it seem like it isn't an issue. It exists as much as misogyny and both are equally harmful, but misandrists always want to deflect from it. Misandrists even have the nerve to say misogyny is something taught in schools and is socially widespread when there's so much evidence not only showing this to be false but that this describes misandry to a T. Misandry is real and not only not seen as a serious issue but even something that's okay. There's schools where female students are literally taught to fear and hate men (while male students badly fall behind thanks to bias), there's practically no campaigns to raise awareness about anti-male sexism and violence nor to end both, and let's not forget the likes of the Gillette ad and "educate your son" slogan. There's still so much apathy towards the fact that men and boys are also victims and have struggles and yet we get the rebuttal of how women supposedly have it worse. Even if that's true, just ignore struggles and hardships men and boys put up with and make it into a contest of which has it worse? I hate it so much.

Equality is for everyone, not just one group, and misandry is not only absolutely real and harmful, but it also continues to go unchecked, unchallenged and is generally regarded with apathy or even outright mockery from more hardcore and radical misandrists. Even with the Johnny Depp case bringing some much-needed attention, you've still got misandrists blind to their own ignorance and how pervasive it truly is in much of society.
