IMNSO, it's a slightly grey area but yes. He violated the conditions they had agreed on for sex. This wasn't a "he didn't know" this was a "he did it anyway".

However, most women seem to go to the ends of the earth to defend a woman's right to stop the pill or remove an IUD without telling their partner. So... I don't like double standards.

Asking is not specifically creating a pre-condition of sex when consent for unprotected sex has already been given.
Consent also has to be practical: men don't have complete control over the ejaculation reflex and whilst he may have had the intention to honour her request, accidents do happen. Should we punish accidents?
Unprotected sex comes with major risks of pregnancy. Ignoring those risks by not taking additional measures to minimise them means she is culpable in placing the entire responsibility on the man and possibly setting him up to fail and absolve her of responsibility over her own fertility. The withdrawal method itself is no guarantee of prophylaxis, even when performed correctly.
The situation is similar in its outcome to a condom failing: should we punish the man for failure of the method used to provide contraception when that method has known risks of failure by saying he deliberately raped her?
The above and more are suggestive of reasonable doubt that he deliberately violated consent.

Largely no, at least not in most legal sense. Many jurisdictions have explicit parameters regarding sexual consent. For example, in Singapore, the boundaries are defined under s377CB of the Penal Code. Subsection 1 reads

377CB.—(1) Despite section 90(a)(ii), a consent for the purposes of an act which is the physical element of a sexual offence is not a consent given by a person under a misconception of fact only if it is directly related to — (a) the nature of the act, namely that it is not of a sexual nature; (b) the purpose of the act, namely that it is not for a sexual purpose; or (c) the identity of the person doing the act, and the person doing the act knows, or has reason to believe, that the consent was given in consequence of such misconception.

I have yet to come across a conviction or even a prosecution for OP's scenario. In any case, I believe it is rather absurd for one to voluntarily initiate or partake in unprotected sexual intercourse, yet demands for the other party to not exhibit natural sexual responses. In the same vein, it would be equally unreasonable and silly for a man to demand his partner to not orgasm or squirt during sex, and that doing so constitutes rape/SA.

You need to read the state law or school code to know what counts as rape. There are many things that now count as rape that wouldn’t have a decade ago. I recently read a story of a student accused of rape and expelled because the condom came off.

Of course a woman can legally steal a man’s sperm, get pregnant and sue for child support.

The laws and codes are extremely biased.

But yes. All guys need to be aware that this can lead to you being charged, although it probably does vary by local law.

I wouldn't call this "rape", but I will say that anyone still relying on the "pull out method" of contraception in 2023 is an absolute idiot or a complete ignoramus whom has lived in a cave for the past two decades taking for stupid risks that they should know better than to take. And I'm sorry about the fact I will be a bit crude in describing why, but you know, I'll call a spade a spade.

There are several problems with the "pull out method", the first being that it is very possible for a few sperms to end up in precum and still result in pregnancy even if the man is sucesfully "pulling out".

The second is that, obviously, it's much harder than it sounds to stop the fun at the last minute and pull it out before you "bust a nut". Take it from someone who's into edging (the idea of delaying orgasm as long as possible to make it even more explosive) and whom has experience doing it, I'm used to it and only have a 90% success rate. That's a trained success rate mind you, and your friend is presumably untrained.

So both of them knew, or at the very least should have known the risks involved, and both of them decided, out of their own free will, to do it anyways. And while I will absolutely call both of them idiots for taking such stupid risks, just because their reckless, risky behavior backfired on them doesn't cancel out the fact it was their choice to take said risks and engage in such reckless behavior.
