I want to provide my constructive feedback for both red and blue pill. Both pills from my experience on reddit seem to look at the world disconnected and independent of things. Look at things alienated from it's context. For example when I provided my analysis of hook up culture most blue pillars ignored the content of my argument and parroted "there is nothing wrong with casual sex or let people do what they want" when I was not making a moral argument or calling people to stop but speculating how hookup culture is a product of current social factors and predicting if said factors change it wouldn't really exist. From my experience with red pill folks I don't think their advices are helpful because they are to broad. People need advice specifically tailored for them. For example go to the gym bro is not as good as hey so since you want to loose weight I would start lifting ten pounds per day. The individual has better idea of what to do exactly to achieve their goal. The other issue is that redpillers theorize social norms to be product of evolution rather than culture or other social and environmental factors. They focus too much on how things should be or how to justify the present conditions with evopsych. Also some redpillers blame hookup culture on sexual liberation, birth control, or feminism which I think is reductionist. It doesn't take into account of other social factors. At the very least red pillars look at the world in terms of how social systems and social norms interact with each other in complex ways and analyze and recognize patterns and trends in society as opposed to rationality and capacity of an individual to perform an action isolated from context. The other problem I have with both these camps is they want to analyze and interpret the modern or current conditions because they are focused on getting dates or sex. No one is really interested in what we can change socially. Yes an individual cannot change society but there could be small steps to change things. A feminist told me about feminist organization teaching healthy relationship skills for an example. I don't personally care about getting women I care about what can change.
