I wake up every morning and look at a scar on the most intimate part of my body, given to me through violent assault and theft by the people i was supposed to and forced to trust, with no regard for my personal well-being and without anesthesia (babies couldn't "feel" pain back then, and numbing wasn't routine until the 2000's), and with a massive amount of permanent mental scarring caused through the trauma, which i guarantee applies to you whether you notice it or not. (Read: The body keeps the score)

Every time i see or notice it, it re-ignites my hatred and disgust (or maybe combine them: Derision) for the entire image of a "loving mother" as well as any trust in the medical industry and/or any and every authority figure involved in the decision, as mine mocked and laughed about it when i first asked. Apparently little me would *gasp* scream when people applied neosporin to my sexual assault wound, before wrapping it in my piss and shit bandage.

And then like most baby boys i was left to "cry it out" for being "too fussy" (ikr, wasn't i such a chore!)

Remember: Big Boys^tm don't cry, or they won't turn into Real Men^tm

I sincerely hope you wake up one day.

Edit: and if you want help with waking up, see if you can find an accurate number of baby boys that die each year from having their penis skinned. Go ahead, I'll wait. (tl;dr it absolutely happens and is covered up)

I was circumcised at birth. I didn't have any health complications from it, and it hasn't had a huge effect on my life.

So here's why I'm dead set against it:

I'm Christian. The Bible, the New Testament, is against it.
It was done without my informed consent. It was done without consulting me at all.
Given the age I am and the age I was when it was done, they didn't even use anesthetic. I'm told I cried for days (to all those people who say their kids didn't cry while it was being done - how did they spend the next few days?)
It tells me that, as a boy, my needs are worthless. My feelings are nothing. And this is how they started my life. They had no problem doing this to me because I am male; but the idea of doing the same thing to a girl would be abhorrent to the people who did it to me.
I am missing a body part. Not a day goes by that I don't wish I was whole, that I had been given the chance to have a whole body.
I have had more than enough pain and suffering in my life. They couldn't let me have a single day without torturing me?
It was completely unnecessary. All the reasons people give for it are lies. (Hygene? Just wash yourself. It prevents STDs? Based on a bad study; also, see 1) -- I don't believe in sex outside of marriage. Following that will do far more to prevent STDs than chopping me up against my wishes.)

It was a choice made to mutilate my body with legal approval. I ended up with a severe infection that has caused deformation and susceptibility to UTIs.

There is no benefit to the procedure being done other than "it'll look weird otherwise," which is a horrendous take on mutilating your child's body.

If you can convince them as adults, go for it, but keep this shit away from kids.

Uncircumcised here.

For me it’s nothing but mutilation. There is no real need to remove a healthy part of the body. The only reason I would be okay with it is due to medical reasons.

But holding an infant down while cutting off a healthy body part, all the while the baby is screaming in pain?

Cut at age 4, living in a place where this is unheard of. I’ve been self-conscious about it my whole life, knowing I’m inferior to everyone around me, and not the whole person I should be.

Constant irritation and friction from clothing while doing anything physically active.

Every day envy and resentment towards everyone who has not been cut. Always wondering “why me?” How is this even legal?

In more recent years, steady loss of libido, less and less enjoyment from intimacy to the point when I gave up on sex about a year ago. I can’t even look down when I have a piss. Shower in the dark to avoid looking at it.

There is no good reason to do this to a boy. It’s legal child abuse.

I have no recourse. I’m at the end of the road.

It’s my body, but definitely not my choice. I hate what this has done to me. I hate myself. I hate my life. Fuck this world.

I saw that you said you don't want opinions from intact people and I don't care. If a guy was circumcised during infancy he has no frame of reference for what it is like to have a foreskin. It's a case of the blind leading the blind.

I was done. Never had an issue and never realised there could be issues until I saw MRA discourse on it. I now believe it is wrong to do unless consent of the male has been obtained. I don’t know what being uncircumcised feels like because I cannot remember it. So I have no comparison point.

I'm cut and never really gave it much thought. I, along with my wife prefer the look so in my case it worked out fine. I've read some sensitivity is lost, which is fine for me as I'm already a sensitive.
