As per title: I'm meeting with a lawyer tomorrow to discuss filing for divorce.

13 years, two boys.

We own a house.

Over the last four years things have become terrible. Right now I'm alienated from all my friends and family but for one guy I was in the Army with.

I've been the stay at home parent for the last … I don’t know … 8-9 years? In that time, both of my children have been born while my wife has changed jobs 4 times, been promoted 3 times, and is now a supervisor for an instructional design team. She even works from home.

I was able to finish and M.B.A. I started my own business, failed, and am now trying to start my business again, but my wife is acting crazy and decided to move out of the house with my kids. She’s basically holding my children hostage, so I’m pulling the pin not only for myself, but for the sake of my two boys who don’t deserve to keep going through this over and over.

So for those of you who’ve been through this, I’d like to hear what your insights are. I want some custody of my children. Some weekends would be nice. I don’t think I should be on the hook for child support because not only have I been the primary care giver for the children while she advances her career, but she makes significantly more than I do.

So that’s it guys. What you got?
