Even if you have kids, once someone files it is OVER. Why would you ever trust her again?

Do the usual stuff that is recommended here, no drinking/drugs, gym, good diet, lots of reading, new hobbies, new friends, save your money.

When a woman is done, she’s done. There’s no immediate comeback. No immediate reconciliation. By the time she vocalizes her intention it’s probably been on her mind for years and she’s probably already been sleeping with someone else for quite a while.

She may return in the future (mine did), but you ain’t gonna want the version that comes back. It’ll be her skin but the ghost in the shell will be completely different.

Don’t run away from the hurt. Feel it. Even wallow in it. But grieve, and move on.
