Hey everyone! I filed for divorce and asked for joint custody (I have a lawyer). I'm thankful there is a forum like this to bounce things off of men going through/have gone through the same thing. I have two things to get your advice on (FYI - we're both still in the marital house):

1) My wife demanded a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL). The GALs initial recommendation was joint legal and custodial. Her final recommendation is joint legal and my wife gets custodial, with significant visitation rights for me (probably ends up being somewhere close to 60/40 or 55/45). The change was largely due to my daughters being negatively influenced. My wife is intent on going to trial. Any thoughts on how to combat this and try to get 50/50?

2) My daughters have expressed that they are being told what to say/not say. For instance, they won't even tell me school grades for fear they'll get in trouble. Also, my wife is trying to pay for as much as she possibly can (I'm still paying the mortgage and other bills and probably still paying more/month than she is). Wanted to see if y'all had opinions on what her strategy is and how to combat.
