Genuinely White Latinos who look similar to Marco Rubio don't pay a so-called "ethnic tax" because they're White and White Hispanic men have been with White Anglo women since forever in America.

I Love Lucy was one of the most popular shows in the height of Jim Crow which banned Black and Asian men from marrying White women.

Also, a lot of people to this day don't know even know Aubrey Plaza and Frankie Muniz have Puerto Rican fathers even despite their last names being Spanish. They've been typecasted as dark haired Whites for the longest.

For other Hispanics, it can go either way. The Browner/Native looking Latinos usually aren't too desirable outside their own women.

Mixed Tri-Racial/Mestizo Latinos usually do pretty well.

Black Latinos tend fair the same as regular Black men.

All in all, Latinos don't really have it bad in America. The biggest complaints about Latino men come from Latinas but even many of those same Latinas will get with Latino men in spite of their complaints about machismo and what have you.

Keeping it real though, the biggest downside for Hispanic men would honestly be height and not race.

Hispanic men are the shortest demographic of men in the U.S. It used to be Asian men but Gen Z Asian and Indian guys are growing hella tall and on a similar level as White/Black guys in the same generation.

I feel like it's not even unusual to run into tall Asian/Indian guys under the age of 30 anymore. It's mostly Filipinos and Vietnamese who tend to remain on the short side.

I still haven't seen much of a growth spurt for Gen Z Hispanic guys though.

If you've ever visited a Hispanic neighborhood you wouldn't need to ask that question. They're more paired-up than white people.

Not at all. Mixed race people are actually often the most attractive.

Also, you can get some strange fringe benefits. Southern universities have scholarships they award to members of previously excluded groups. Somehow they manage to find the whitest black and brown people for these.
