LGBTQ is only an adult topic if you're just focused on the sex. There's a whole lot more there to talk about, from self-expression to civil rights. It seems like you're talking more about a school setting, and I absolutely think LGBTQ topics have a place there.

Kids should be taught from an early age that not everybody is the same - and that's ok. That's how we reduce bigotry in future generations. Like a kindergarten class reading "And Tango Makes Three" and discussing all the different types of families. Or talking about being able to be yourself without shame, even if that goes against what's traditionally "normal."

I think it's important for middle and high school, especially, to address topics that might not be covered at home. Partly so LGBTQ youth can feel seen and accepted, but also to make sure they have the information they need for healthy choices. For example, safe homosexual relations should be a part of sex-ed. And the Stonewall riots and legalization of gay marriage should be covered when discussing civil rights.

I'll admit, I definitely have a personal interest here. My daughter came out as a lesbian when she was 14 and has a group of friends who are gay, bi, or nonbinary. Sadly, more than one of those friends can't be themselves with their own families. My daughter went to prom with another girl and founded a Gay Straight Alliance at her high school. That group serves as a place for LGBTQ youth to meet like-minded people and is a resource for information about health (including mental heath) and the local PRIDE community. They also run several fundraisers to support the Trevor Project- a crisis hotline for LGBTQ youth.

Feminism already broke all of the age barriers when it comes to peddling their misinformation, so why gate any of it? You can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Trad-cons have this weird position that children are going to immediately try something out if they learn about it. Only if you raise shit kids! Smart kids understand consequences of their actions and take measured approaches so they don't get humiliated in front of their peers.

18 is arbitrary bullshit. You start going through puberty far younger than that, and delaying sex education only results in uninformed promiscuity. You should be teaching children, not teenagers, what it means to wear different kinds of clothing and what having a sense of modesty and self-preservation is about. IMO, 12-13 is the perfect age if not a little late to be delivering the message of "what those feelings mean" and it's okay to be attracted to whomever is a consenting adult.

Bad parents want their kids to conform to a status quo so it's easier on them. That's partially what makes them bad parents; the selfishness of thinking your children belong to you instead of the notion you're raising competent individuals.

I think people need to understand that kids as young as five oftentimes have general access to the internet these days. By ten, they definitely have their own online accounts of some sort and are socializing with others. By 14, they're actively lying to get around age gates to get the info they want. Don't you think that it would be better to expose them, gently and academically, to the truths of their own bodies and budding emotions in the safety of a classroom instead of the wild of the internet?

Redpill? +18 tag? lmao no.

Feminism is apart of history, and should be taught, reasonably and with the data and right after that, should be taught why it didn't work through the RedPill data.

Feminism is "what it is"

Redpill is "why it doesn't work" (among other things, because redpill isn't exclusively about females)

The Non-hets should be strictly tackled on a biologically and scientifically based level only, and to be made available, not pushed.

LGBTQ+ should be optional, anonymous and on demand. I knew I wasn't straight by age 12, and the only thing that got me through it was from the human sexuality encyclopedias my dad had at home, knowing that it was a normal thing, not much talked about but not evil, helped me develop into a balanced person, instead of what some people tried to do, which was pushing me into the church and into the pipeline for conversion therapy camp.

It shouldn't be glamorized, but kids, at least not straight ones, should have access to the information in a safe way, that sadly, parents often are unable to provide. Hell, my mom kicked me to the streets when she found out, I was lucky my dad and her had already divorced and my dad didn't ask any questions, just received and accepted me no questions asked.

Redpill is just advanced Civics, which should be taught to high schoolers.

Feminism is religion and should be treated as such.

LGBTQAP etc is adult content and any attempt at reaching out to children is just recruitment.
