Ok gents, my mediation has just been scheduled for August.

Timeline: -October she wrote up non-contest paperwork which included her getting full rights to the house (200k equity), her car, no splitting the bank accounts, she keeps her retirement ($280k+), I get placed on child support with standard possession (1st, 3rd, 5th weekend) I get the old furniture, my office, and my belongings. Fuck that noise.

-Divorce filed by her in November

-she files false police and says she’s scared of me because I placed cameras in the home for my own protection. Police officer even chucked on body cam footage and says it’s a civil matter. She makes false mental health statements and even says that I own guns (which I’m a concealed handgun license holder with training).

-Emergency hearing for temporary orders were scheduled in November.

-December was ordered to vacate the marital home within 14 days (Temporary orders)

-Found apartment within 4 miles to stay close.

-I had my lawyer schedule us for a custody evaluation.

-Evaluation completed in June. Evaluator recommended 50/50 custody

-Her income is 40k more than mine and that’s on the low end.

-Mediation was finally scheduled and I’m thinking that she won’t give up shit.

How many of y’all had mediation go fairly?

NOTE* I did notice that my lawyer had to find the mediator and her reviews are 4 out of 5 stars with a mix of men and women.
