I think a future wave of feminism will include men's issue. Feminism is a software that gets an update every few years.

There is nothink I love more than seeing women acknowledge our pains and issues.

That's really great. Let's all remember the Guardian is the most influential newssource in the world and sits on a mountain of money. Any movement on their part towards equalitarianism is a blessing.

That being said, what's missing is a mea culpa. The misandry permeating our culture is aknowledged in passing, with the mention of "ugh, men", but what isn't mentionned is the policies, the hate campaigns disguised as "women's empowerment", the whole academic field dedicated to revisionist hatemongering.

You cannot aknowedge men's issues and call yourself a feminist without a giant blind spot that goes all the way to the name of the movement itself.

There is no intelligence without humility. By concluding that men need feminism, (and by taking ownership of those issues through a book written by herself alone) the author is showing she hasn't gotten there yet.

Still, a step in the right direction.
